Hi Jokian.
It takes about 20-25 mins to walk to Protartas along the beach track, which we managed with our two kids.
It depends what you want to do in Pernera? Most days we were either by the pool or down on the beach as that's what the kids wanted to do. We went to the water park in Napa one day, jeep safari another day and also a boat trip. We booked all of these through the travel agent in Pernera (South African lady i think) as it was cheaper than the reps.
We found this kids club to be the best one yet! There are 3 sessions a day i think and the kids can also have an early tea with the other kids and reps if they wish. We went in the 2nd & 3rd week of June and they max they ever had in the club was about 7 kids, which meant it wasn't over crowded and the kids all made friends. The kids reps were really good too. They normally had a different theme in the kids club everyday (water theme, spooky theme, pirates etc).
I don't think they like you leaving the hotel, but if you give them you mobile number this shouln't be a problem if you are only across the road in one of the pubs.
Also remember that blokes are supposed to wear long trousers in the evening when eating in the restaurant. We did see a couple of blokes get turned away and asked to put on long trousers when entering the restaurant.
The pool's are also excellent and enough shallow ends for the kids. We didn't hear of anybody picking up any infections from the pool and saw the pool's being cleaned every morning about 7.00am.
Anything else you want to know?
Cheers.
