Hi,

Can anyone tell me if the Maspalomas Waterpark is within walking distance of the Green Oasis apartments?

Cheers,

Yes its not so far from the bungalows to the water park. On this map of Maspalomas the bungalows are situated on top of the map. Near the roundabout with many smaller roundabouts... Just below it you can see the 'Ocean park'. I guess its 5-10 min walking.

I went to Gran Canaria a few years ago and we went to Aqua Sur, it is a real good laugh although not the best water park i have ever been to, but its a day out instead of staying by the pool all day.

I come back from there and was not impressed at all. I think it was a dirt hole and i shall definatly be emailing them, they waitresses were pushing dirty food on the floor which attracted flies, it is just a dirt hole

Hiya,

Spoken to my grandson last night, they wisely decided to try the 15% off voucher first.

He didn't like it, said there was not enough rides (his opinion and he is 12).

Hope that helps.

Hi Everyone

Have been back a week now, when we where out there the water park in Pureto Rico was opened. My kids loved it. I personally think that there is not enough to do there, defently not for a day out anyway. It cost 20.50 for adults not sure what the childrens price is, but way over priced for what you get, and they were building a new ride while we was there.

Hope this Helps

The waterpark in Maspalomas is called Aquasur. It is fairly large park with lots of slides and different pools. The food is expensive here. You need shoes for the floor as it gets very hot. They have a pool for adults only and also a pool for young children.

Not sure of the price though.

Hi elisha&paul

If I believe right the Aqua Park in Maspalomas was about 22 euros 50 cents for adults, and Children was around 15 Euros. A good day out we found was Palmitos Park, ended up going twice.

Does Aqualand have dedicated buses running from the PDI area? We'll be staying at the Barcelo Las Margaritas in 5 weeks, the kids really want to go to a waterpark and Aqualand looks good, although I haven't seen any photos etc of any other waterparks, my kids are water-confident teenagers and Aqualand doesn't look too 'babyish' for them. Also, considering the reports of the floor being rather rough, would they be able to wear pool shoes on the slides?
