You will be drinking plenty of water, phew its so hot there hardly any shade. Best advice the kids part is as soon as you get through security gates. best loungers are at the back of the park, right near the restaurant and loos. Shaded by trees.

Paphos have their own water park, my guess is its about 3 hours drive as its the other side of the Island.

Waterworld is the other side of Ayia-Napa.

can anyone suggest any other good activities or things to do in ayia napa?

You can bungee jump Caroline :D Also take a bike ride or have a look around cape Greko, it has picnic spots and you can swim in the sea, it looks like an over-hang as it is a cliff.

i fancy pony trekking!

the waterpark is fantastic :D

You can ride ponies Caroline, but it is in between Protaras and Ayia Napa, cannot remember the name but remember seeing it on the bus coming back from the water park.

Must admit whilst waterworld is awsome, i wouldnt fancy the drive from paphos & back in one day.. It's tireing day at the waterpark then you have a 2-3 hour drive,,, might be a bit risky...

paphos does have aphrodite waterpark (never been here) & also limassol has Fassouri which i think is a great water park & its only an hours drive from paphos..

yeah i found something on the internet called moonshine ranch or something! just going for two weeks will want one or two things to do in the day rather than just sit by the pool/beach! got waterworld as one :D and for some reason like the idea of riding on a pony in the hot weather!

Thats what i was thinking Gaz, we want to go back to limassol just to see how things have changed, so possible that water park we will go too.

Waterworld btw is the biggest park in Europe if you didnt know.

hi michelle
waterworld has grown over the years & every year it just gets better & better, we're at coral bay this year & i've just looked at the aphrodite park, it does look very good.

I really love water parks & we tried fassouri out a few years ago & thought it was ace.. but nothing could tempt me into paying for the water park in pernera, i walked past it last year & that was close enough for me.....

The water park in Pernera is the same price as Waterworld:yikes, ithink its catered for smaller kids so the family don't have to go out of resort. The big slide(orange) that was the newest ride at WW was fabulous, but it closes down if there is a wind brewing because it can blow you off the top :D

Hi, we've recently booked to go back to aiya napa in Oct for a quick week. Everyone looking forward to going back to Waterworld... :D as we all think it's great too.. Best waterpark we have visited... ( not ventured over to the States yet )

Must admit tho, whilst we were at our 1st and last visit to Paphos... we drove out to Fassouri waterpark in Limasol and were well impressed with that too... October is fab at the waterparks because there's no queing, and it's alot more laid back...

Cant wait! :)

We went last year and it was fantastic. I loved the lazy river - just floating around on a rubber ring it was very relaxing. 8) The waves were good fun in the big wave pool. My kids loved it as well. Keep an eye on little ones as it gets very busy.
Enjoy

Hi, hoping someone can recommend a good water park on Cyprus. We are staying in Protaras but have a hire car. Also is the Valley of the Kings an interesting place for children (8 yrs) to visit.

Thanks Ann
