Thanks Helen. Any comments are appreciated. I have looked at the link and it sure does look good. Darent show my kids yet or I'll never hear the end of it till we get there.

hi jules me and my family went to the paphos water park twice while we stayed there last year, the kids ages were 3 to 13, we had a brilliant time there is something for the whole family, we found the park very safe, very clean and the staff were lovely too, so please give it a go you will love it.
Jules
whilst fassouri is a very good water park, the aqua park in paphos is also very good, we were there last week it is very clean & well laid out with plenty to do for young & old

We visited Paphos Waterpark in June. We have been to the Ayia Napa one twice which is far superior. We found the Paphos one crammed into a small area and the staff were not as attentive.
Also some of the slides were extremely scary and fast and the lifeguard didn't seem to be particularly interested when I asked him to keep his eyes on my child coming down at what seemed like 100 mph when I crashed into the water! I prefer the Ayia Napa Waterworld, but I know it's quite a jaunt from Paphos.
Also food is puke and staff miserable. They need to up their game as people will just go to Fassouri in the future.
However if you are that way do visit the crazy golf place. Beautifully set out and lovely people.
Kirren
Thanks for your responses. If it is a bit dodgy I dont want to be worrying all day about the kids coming down at 100mph! Might just go to the others instead. We are planning on hiring a car anyhow so might do either ayia napa or Fassouri waterpark instead. As for the crazy golf my kids will be well impressed! Wherever we go they just HAVE to have a game!
to let one person put you off? I'll certainly be taking my grandchildren
in September, we'll be going to them all.
At the end of the day it's a parents job to watch their kids no one elses.

sorry but rubbish,Also food is puke and staff miserable.
the food was fine and we found the staff lovely, we wouldnt have gone back a second time if we had not have.

I will just play it by ear and see where we fancy when we are there, but its good to know everyone's views on it. After all, it might have just been a bad day when Kirren went. We all have our off days at work after all.
Would really like to hear from anyone else who's been at the water park this time of year

Katters.......check your PM...........I've put something on there that might help alleviate the inevitable waiting around you're likely to encounter in August at the WaterPark
Tip: Don't bother to buy prepaid tickets from the reps or others, just get discount vouchers (CY£1-2 per person), most Taxis have them, and pay on the gate, they'll tell you you're a VIP and won't have to queue if you prepay.... But they sell so many (and cop a commission) that the prepayers simply queue in a different line

We were there last year in July and the queues were not too bad, am I to take it they will be pretty bad in August? We travel out on the 17th, if so any advice would be much appreciated.....
hi went on a sunday in july nitemare packed with cypriots go midweek much better
I agree with the above post. This applies to the beaches aswell. Usually over crowded on a weekend, due to the fact Cypriots are enjoying their weekend off (and why not!). We usually hire a car for a couple of days , so we can do our "sightseeing". Either that, or stop around your swimming pool, sunbathe and relax!!
Thanks for that, will make sure it is midweek when we visit.
We always visit on a Wednesday, i think it is quite a big changeover day and we have haven't had any probs with queues. Mind you we visit end of Aug.
I can assure you that I asked the member of staff if the ride was suitable for my child and that I went down the slide first to meet him at the end.
There were no signs stating suitability for age etc, and therefore when you ask a member of staff for advice you would expect it to be reliable.
Indeed I agree that it is parents responsibility to look after their children, and for that reasonit would not be fair to leave the safety of my child in such an environment with their grandparents.
I still stand by my comment that the food was puke! You must be easily pleased.
Kirren
Cheers for the advice everyone!
Oh, Sapph..... would you mind posting me that PM again.... i checked and theres nothing there
