what are you doing over xmas and new year

I was planning to grab a week after xmas for New Year, as the kids don't go back to school/college until 8th Jan, but then daughter got her hospital orthodontics clinic appointment for 5th Jan which doesn't give us much time to play with, considering there are family commitments up until the end of Dec, and I won't go anywhere for less than a week - not worth the hassle travelling. So I'll be "livin' la vida sofa" watching TV, flicking through my brochures and drinking the leftover duty-frees. Hope you all have great xmas breaks anyway

Hi all

We will be sunning ourself in Tenerife from the 15 - 29 December then five days later hubby and two sons will be freezing their b######s off in Austria Skiing.

we will be back in sunny Nottinghamshire as we have just got back from Gran Can and then we are doing Egypt on 11th Dec until 18th and as much as i would like to be abroad, we can't afford it!

I will be working most of it anyway.....

We'll be in the Dominican republic from Dec 17-24 and then on Dec 28 we fly out again to spend new year with my Mum who lives in El Algar in Spain.

We arrive in Goa Christmas eve, weve never been before so it will be an adventure :lol:

Wow you lucky lot - we are catching up with friends so will be entertaining and being entertained. The kids don't like to be away for Christmas Day but me and hubby would like to try it one year. The kids are nearly off our hands but I wouldn't like to be without them Christmas Day :cry:

We are off to New York tomorrow though with 3 of our kids and another family are joining us to enjoy the sights and do loads of shopping

wishing we were away. Though we go to Edinburgh for a few days at the beginning of Jan so got that to look forward to

Only just got back from sunny Malta so will be at home boozing in the local as much as possible over the xmas period, really not looking forward to xmas as my mum was in hospital last xmas prior to passing away in January so it's our first one without her, anyway we are back in Malta mid-Feb for Karnival so we are looking forward to that :glynis
