What to drink:

As served in restaurants:
Beer; Leon (it IS a beer Jim); Keo; Carlsberg
Brandy Sour
Anything free offered after your meal

From supermarket - Carrefour:
Spitfire; Bishops Finger; Whitstable Ale; Brewers Choice

Water, from the potable water tap. Go on, its safe. And lots of it, in this heat!
Fruit juices

.. as for drinks offered for free after a meal ! We were in Nicolas Tavern and spent a little on a meze for a good few people, we were happy sitting right by the grill in all the smoke (what me nearer to the food who should coco) and I think thats why we got a bucket of liquer each after the meal ! very nice and most welcome it was too (if only I had space to drink it ! lol)

Mark, Leon is a beer, well you could have knocked me over with an old label of Keo!!

Most now drink Carlsberg Keo has an odd taste these days, but I drink little beer now water is the way to go!!

Or tea!! :wink:

definately any cat, not that i have tasted any. i dont mind carlsberg. I dont mind what the beer costs as long as i enjoy it.

Two bars I found that actually have owners who really care about the quality of the beers they serve - the usual three: Keo , Leon, and Carling. Both pubs are in the Margarita Gardens area.

Damn Yankees next to *Sixties* Tefkrou Street Kato Paphos
The Rugby Arms Ikarou Street Kato Paphos

And both do good food (steak n' ale pie is yummy)

keo is ok as refresher when it was red hot and i'd just come out of the sea

Can't wait for my first Keo or Carlsberg for that matter(which is probably the best lager in the world)of the holiday(12 DAYS TO GO), but i'm really a bit of a wino if the truth be known, but it has to be DRY and WHITE...any suggestions or tips on what to buy/drink would be appreciated.

go to bells bar (protaras) and have a huge 4 person cocktail costs £12cyp

tastes and looks like dirty dish water but gets you very drunk

Thanks for the recommendation, but I'll stick to beer and brandy sours.

Aldi cloudy lemonade, Aldi brandy and Angostura Bitters makes a very passable brandy sour!!! :wink:

Ohhh just got back on Sunday

Drank mainly Keo, Brandy Sours and the odd Cocktail (or two, three then lost count ha ha)
