Yes mercadonna in Tenerife also has Wheat free stuff.

Tried that thread but it says that it does not exist. I asked that same question earlier this year as also have a friend coming with me at the end of November with the same allergy.
The Bistro, Los Cristianos, is a highly recommended restaurant. You can pre-book and there is a section to enter any dietary requirements.
The co-owner said he could cope wth gluten-free diets.

You will be able to buy rye/pumpernickel bread in the supermarkets, as they cater for the German tourists. Also ryvitas. .

Acorncup the reason it cannot be found is because the thread you refer to was actually on the holidayforum site which was setup as a temporary measure when we had problems on this server.

Avoid the British eating places, they do tend to mislead you (not tell the truth). The Local places were fantastic and honest. Sorry to anyone who owns such a place. Any place I tried told me no problem, we can cater for you, then plonk a bowl of bread in front of us. We do the same at home............... Walk Out.
