We are looking to go to the Red Sea Area in Dec 2007 to celebrate a big birthday. All Adults in their 40's
We have no idea where to start, preferably AI with a choice of restaurants,
close to a nice beach, with a Jacuzzi, sauna and maybe an indoor pool.
All suggestions gratefully received.

If you decide against AI and go for the alternative of B&B, you need to be near to Namma Bay as that is where all the restaurants (Hard Rock, Camel Bar etc) bars and shops are. The Crowne Plaza is a nice hotel, rooms are good and the reef is great, and it has all the usual 5* facilities of Health Club, tennis courts, 4 or 5 pools, selection of eateries and bars. It's about 5 or 10 mins in a cab from Namma and it has its own taxis. Most of the AI's are quite a long way from Namma Bay.
Happy holiday hunting.
PS if you are interested in the Coral Sea it has it's own thread with loads of info you can read.
