Hi Guys,
I've just come back from hols and my suitcase is minus a wheel, I had it double strapped anyway as I'd caught something in the zip whilst packing it and didn't trust it as much anymore so a new case is in order.
I've been reading through the threads regarding weight limits etc with interest so ventured out today to research, my head is spinning!
Some cases are measured in inches, some in centimeteres and some give capacity in litres - what's that all about?
I also looked at 'holdalls' with wheels but aren't sure if the lighter weight is worth the reduced capacity.
What do you experienced travellers reccommend now that weight limits are decreasing rapidly? My
od suitcase was a non expandable 28" framed soft body if that helps and I fill it to more than capacity!
What do you reccommend?
Pam
http://www.tripp.co.uk they give excellent info on each suitcase, wheeled holdall or regular holdall and this includes the dimensions, weight, litres etc.
You may be suprised by some of the weights I know I was I highly recommend all Tripp luggage been buying it for years online direct with them and also in Debenhams......who have a sale on the Tripp luggage at the moment.
Either way it's very informative and should help you decide.
My best tip to get an idea of weight differences and sizes etc. is to take a look at the Tripp website You may be suprised by some of the weights I know I was I highly recommend all Tripp luggage been buying it for years online direct with them and also in Debenhams......who have a sale on the Tripp luggage at the moment.

After lugging suitcases around for years when it came to replacing them we opted for holdalls, much easier to carry (or pull) and it's surprising how much you can pack in. Agree with Miss_chief, the Tripp range are excellent.
than a suitcase, hope things dont get creased though as there are no straps inside.
If i dont get on with it then back to the suitcase for next time.
I manage to take just as much as in a suitcase and dont find things crease any more than in a suitcase.
I do pack most things into several large polythene bags.
