hi we were a party of 9 who travelled with ferris in 2004 and 2005 the first trip in 2004 was fine we were up stairs on a double decker coach my husband who suffers from arthritis was fine another of our group was a elderly person with a stick who smoked had to keep going down the stairs when she wanted a ciggaret so when we travelled with ferris in 2005 we asked if we could have downstairs seats as we thought that this would be better for the person who smoked unknown to us ferris hads moved the smoking room from down stairs to upstairs we were given seats at the front of the coach downstairs at the front theese seats were facing each other so there was no where to put baggage no overhead racks for luggage you could not streach your legs out as the peoples knees on the seat facing you were next to yours ferris do not make as many stops think we went about 5-6 hours between the one stop to the next. We have also been with hoverland they stop more frequent than ferris but still get to the costa brava at the same time we are going with hoverland a week on friday will let you know how it went when we get back
