just returned from windmills apts on saturday. had a great time! we were given an apt opposite the pool area and it was very quiet! apts were a bit dated as most people said but they were cleaned every day and bedding and towels changed every other day. staff were excellent espcially fish and steve the dj. josie who worked in the bar looked after us brillantly we luv her to bits! all in all i neednt have worried about going there. will go back to pernera and protaras as we really enjoyed it.

Some of our friends are in the windmills, its basic but fine for them, clean which is the main thing.

The bar is great, Fish is a laugh and so is Tammy in the garden bar. The cocktails are scrummy. Its great craic (laugh) in there. Also the Nautilis bar across the street is fab.

I have booked 10 nights in july for myself and my two 16 years old girls..
We are staying at Windmlills Hotel/appartments.. Perena/protaras..

Glynis our admin staff went there a few years ago. It is in the pernera, fairly basic apartments, but comfortable. At night can be noisey as the two bars opposite each other compete on how they can get the loudest noise etc, but last year when we were in kokos the police were back and forth telling them both to close it down.

You are in a central area with shops and restaurants all around you and the beach about 5-10 mins walk.

From Astreas, you would go up to the mainstreet in Pernera. Turn right at the T junction. Up the (gentle) hill to the next T junction opposite Doros rentacar and Davidos pub, and Windmills is there on the right hand side.
