I just wanted to tell you about some news that might affect your stay at the Hotel Grand Bahia Principe in Jamaica.
The Hotel Manager has contacted us about some building work taking place to extend the Luxury Bahia Principe, adding a further 112 rooms to the property.
I’ve spoken to our team in Jamaica and they’ve been along to review the work so we can give you an accurate picture of what to expect. Although work to clear the area and lay foundations has been completed, the project is now at the construction phase and because of the layout of the hotel and the type of work being done, this may be audible and visible from some areas, including the rooms and some public areas in the Don Pablo Adults Only section of the hotel.
I’d also like to assure you that all the facilities advertised on our website and in our brochures for Hotel Grand Bahia Principe will be open as normal.
Naturally it’s really important that we let you know about any changes to holiday plans, so I hope I’ve explained everything clearly. If you do have any queries, please give me a call on the number below.
We stayed at GPB Jamaica before when they were doing building work and it didn't bother us but we didn't receive any advance email warning us about it either. This to me sounds like they know it's probably going to be bad but don't bother complaining when you're there or when you get back as we warned you in advance.
Has anybody else received this email? What would you/are you doing about it?
