Last night loved James's singing the power of love but wasn't so keen on his first song. Jehmain was very good too can see them two in the final with Union J I hope, I think they have really improved over te last few weeks

Wasn't too keen on song number one, & was really nervous Then James pulled it back with his second song.

We must be more laid back here in M'bro as there isn't a big campaign for James ie no flyers in shop windows etc. Just hope he makes it through tonight - fingers crossed everyone & vote for James !!

Despite what Tulisa says, James doesn't need to win XFactor- indeed it is probably in his best interest if he doesn't. He can then decide on who wants to sign with and won't have a first song to contend with.

With the PussyCat Dolls, it was the Management of the group who focused on Nicole and pushed the others to the back as though they were her backing singers. Obviously this caused murder and led to the break up.
I hated Nicole to begin with but with all the mad comments I am warming to her...plus I can't stand Tulisa so I have got to like one more than the other!
I agree totallly on James 2 songs. I love that U2 song but it didn't work for me the way he sang it, but the 2nd one was amazing. Jahmain (no idea how you spell that) was really great last night. Really brave and brought a tear to my eye. Not really my cup of tea as a singer but have to hand it to him last night.

I hear that the winner's song is one to rival the long ago Christmas one of Grandad. They each have to sing Stand by your Nan in the final.

I'm so pleased James is through when I think back the auditions in Newcastle were embarrassing apart from James I hope he wins. Jahmane does have a very good voice but doesn't have the X factor and Chris well least said the better!!!

I would think its a conspiracy by X factor saboteurs to make a mockery of the programme by making Chris the winner. They have successfully sabotaged the Xmas number 1 in the past, I think they are taking it to the next level.

Im inclined to agree Frank. Think its inevitable that he will win now. I think it goes back to the first live show when Carolyn was voted off against Rylan. I also think its why Tulisa lost all of her girls so early on. Payback for Rylan

I dont vote until the final but after hearing that the "live" final isnt so live, I dont think I will bother this year. Apparently the winner knows they have won and the show is pre-recorded. Any money made during the final is rolled over for the next series. I dont know how true that is but I shall be checking the listings to see if it says "live" before I make a decision on whether to vote for my winner. James Arther all the way for me

Union J have publicly spoken out that they don't want Chris to win as they think it will damage the credibility of the show , this said while having appeared alongside Rylan on This Morning !!!! I actually liked Rylan in the end mainly because he was entertaining , while the others have good voices they are a bit boring at times .
I wouldn't be surprised if Chris does win , reasons why?? Well he probably did deserve to be selected for the final 12 from judges houses , especially when you consider that Rylan did which seemed a bit controversial , and then the public was asked to vote for their favourite to join the final 12 , so he is the public choice ?
He's been criticised constantly by judges especially over his love for choice of songs from the 80s , yet when James performs 2 this week from the 80s no mention gets made of this ?
Yes he is cheesey , and I don't vote for him but he's always getting slagged off while we are told that the other one is Jamazing who just in case you didn't know works in Asda , and the other one has to win because , well he just has to win , I don't mind him , his performance of LMFAO a few weeks ago was clever and interesting , but I'm finding all the angst a bit too much now .
I agree with a couple of other posts that some votes are being made by "saboteurs " they want to hand Cowell a cheesey karaoke winner , but then the judges are poor and so are some of their decisions , the show has lost it edge .

It looks like Christopher might be having a breakdown and I'm not surprised with what he has had to put up with.

From what ive read over the last few weeks Fiona, he is a nasty piece of work. Apparently he stormed off last night and refused to be part of tonight's show. Good riddence as far as I was concerned. Sorry.

As for the winner. WOOHOO I loved James right from the start and the best man won. Cant wait to see what he will do in the future. I loved his winners song. Love the original as well.

There is no denying that Jehmene has talent but he isnt a "pop star". I can see him going along the same path as Buble and the likes (not that Buble isnt mind ). Good luck to him
