This hotel is fantastic loved every minute of our holiday.

The hotel looks stunning and is very clean, the rooms are lovely and the view from the 8th floor is breath taking.

The food is not 5* so do not go expecting to get danish bacon and lincolnshire sausages for breakfast.

There is a vast range of food to choose from there is croissants of every varierty, salad, meats, toast, rolls, fruit, yoghurt,boiled eggs the list goes on.....as for snacks the pizza, chicken wraps, hotdogs and chicken rolls were all fab and all of us loved them. Lunch can also be take in th dinning room but couldnt pull myself away from the pool! The food might not look nice but try a little bit first and you will go back for more there is something for everyone, even chicken nuggets and chips for the kids! I never waited on food very long a couple of minutes if that! If you want to go to the other restaurants you have to book be there for 9.30am to book for that night or you MIGHT NOT get in. A couple of nights we went to the BBQ restaurant and never booked and it was fine.

The kids ate Ice-Cream till it was coming out of there ears!

I Never had to dodge kids with coffee, if there were no spoons or forks just ask someone will get them for you.

The staff were all pleasant and if they could speak english they would speak to you.

The pool is freezing but once you are in its fine, you get used to it.

The beach is fab, clean and plenty of sunbeds.

Never used the entertainment we met some really nice people and we all met up and had a good time together.

The little shopping centre under the hotel and the stalls along the front are great, fake bags and clothes etc cheap cheap. You can get anything that you have forgotten from nappies and baby food too sweets suntan lotion and sarongs.

Never saw any "porn" shoots or anything like that at all.

I would definately go back its a fantastic place, they are building a water park which is free to guests at the front of the hotel but I never heard a thing and it looks like it will be finished in the next few weeks.

I never heard anyone complaining to the reps but what I would say is book your late checkout at the resort its cheaper! And a map of where everything is would have helped a bit as it is fairly spread out.

We've just arrived back from this hotel, and to be honest we're all sad to be home. We went for a week -all inc!

The resort - from the moment you drive up to it to when you check in and see your room, was all very impressive. Particularly if you arrive at night / early a.m. The rooms are spacious and we booked a twin, but ended up with a huge room plus a kids den for my son with bunk beds, his own tv and another good sized room. We had a sea view - on 4th floor. And from when you open your door and look outside, you are taken aback at how lovely it looks.

Make sure you take insect repellent - although we only got bit at the airport on the way home, if your out late, thats when the bugs are out too.

When we checked in we got a bag each with food / water - which wasnt expected but gratefully recieved, particularly when we arrived so early in the morning.

The lifts are a huge pain!! There is only 4 which covers 8 floors - so you seem to be forever waiting - so if you can, use the lifts.

Many of the staff dont speak a word of english, so dont be offended by 'funny looks'. Particularly in ice-cream bar, you have to point to what you want or they look confused.

Cleaning - they are forever cleaning, quite funny when your eating, looks like they are eagles hunting for prey, they eyes widen and in for the kill!! Same applies to waiters, as fast as you clear your plate, they take it away - so never leave anything on the table if you still want it.

The food was ok, tasted a few different meals, love they're chicken and pork and salads - try the chicken soup, has huge bits of chicken. Have a childrens food table, but alot of the adults use it as it does have a few english foods on it. Drinks taste like they have been watered down a little, the lager tasted like shandy, and if you have children, dont let them drink the soft drinks in the restaurant without watering them down - or they will bounce off the ceiling - there is a lot of colouring in them, and it stains!!

Yes we were ill, only for a day each - could be related to food / bug / heat - who knows, but it didnt spoil our holiday too much.
Restaurants - have a few, but 3 you have to make reservations for between 10 -11 a.m, we tried but was always booked - so get up early.
Sun beds hard to find in the morning - around 12 ish they started to become empty. We bought a lilo and used that if there was none free.

Beach is lovely - HOT though so watch your feet. Bouncy castle you have to pay for - only 5 levs though.

Take money with you - but not too much - rate is better here than there, we took

We arrived early morning and were very impressed by the hotel we checked in quickly and was taken to our rooms by the bell boy, who was very helpful and showed us around our room.

When we awoke in the morning what a sight we saw the beech was just a stone throw away and the pool looked great, the kids could not wait to get out.

The cleanliness of the hotel was great with cleaners working all around the clock to keep the hotel clean

The food was OK breakfast was poor and by the end of the two weeks we were going with out breakfast

They were building a water park at the hotel which when complete looks to be great fun

We went on two trips with first choice which were both very poor and a waste of money first was the lazy cruise which was said to be a all day trip which turned out only to be 4 hours and their was only 10 minutes swimming time at just one stop and once you had eaten they would not let you back in the water but you could drink as much as you beer as you liked and were OK to go in.

The second was a trip to bourgas shopping and to the water park. It was advertised as shop till you drop , but it was the only city I have ever been to and we never managed to spent any money.

It rained on the way back and the water park was postponed to the next day that was great the kids loved it. But it would have been cheaper to get a taxi their and back.

Word of warning dont use the buses they cram as many people as possible on to them then drive really fast, our bus hit a car on the way to sunny beech everybody went forward and then were told to get off the bus and walk the rest of the way nobody asked if anyone was injured. We got taxis from then which wee very cheap.

At the hotel they hired scooters to anyone which was a pain as they drove around the pool and the sunbeds one woman was knocked over by one and hurt badly.

No problem getting sunbed their were plenty around and their were six or seven different pools.

The entertainment was great the kids loved it all only problem the hall was small and to smoky

We are all ready thinking of going back next year we all had such a great time.

Cleaners were everywhere. Day and night, friendly staff, they really tried hard.

Excellent value for money but be prepared to give & take. Make sure you find out were all the eating/drinking sites are & what time they are open to avoid disappointment.

Perfect location & very safe feeling about the resort. Not many wasps or flies but some ants, seagulls more of a problem!

Animation staff very good/helpful as were the kids club staff. Hotel staff & cleaners also did tremendous job & thankfully most of them could'nt understand the rude things being said by many ignorant tourists!

First Choice staff did'nt seem too interested unless you were booking one of their trips! Avoid animation hall unless you like smoke.

Trips to Sunny Beach (by taxi)& Nessebar (by boat, board at on-site pier) good value! Upon arrival gifts/souvenirs much cheaper than on-site.

Lots of tattooists on site also!! Health Spa on-site worth a go! If you get a good deal, go for it!!!

P.S. do tip the staff, they genuinely appreciate it!

The entrance to the hotel is out of this world!! it's like a palace!!

The whole complex is spotless,the cleaners work 24 hours a day.Our room was cleaned everyday and it was massive plent of space for all of us.

The food was okay there was something for everyone,the bulgarians do like alot of pork and veal though!!

We went to sunnybeach a few times and it was costing

The food was terrible, stayed for two weeks.

In the second week I ended up in hospital with food poisoning due to uncooked chicken and was on a drip for two days.

Staff were always cleaning, and friendly. It was the reps that were rude.

We went with two other families they also had a terrible time and would never go again. Kids were bored, we were bored. The reps were very unhelpful, they only wanted to know when things were going ok, when there was a problem they would hide.

We had the suite it was very spacious and clean. The entertainment was no good, we ended up catching taxis to Sunny Beach.

If we ever stepped foot in Bulgaria again it will be a lifetime too soon. Hotel cannot cater for so many visitors, need a new chef!!!!

We have just returned from Royal Park, Elinete and we loved it.

People moan about the food in the hotel, if you want English food - stay in England!!. We found the food was fine and there was plenty of restaurants to eat in.

Staff were not overly friendly but they were never rude, we enjoyed the Morris bar and the bartenders are very friendly in there.

Hotel was always clean and the towels and bed clothes were changed everyday and the maids even cleaned our mess up and folded our clothes and put them in the wardrobes.

Hotel rooms are massive and very nice, our balcony over looked the pool and sea and we could see the dolphins swimming everyday.

We will definitely be going back to Royal Park.

Have just arrived from Royal Park and it was an amazing hotel, we were very nervous about going due to all of the reports but nothing like them.

When we first arrived we were gobsmacked at the size of the hotel.

One of the first thing you notice is how clean it is the cleaners are at it all day.
The food in the hotel was OK but you don't really expect English food in a foreign country if you want that then you might as well stop at home. There were a few different places to eat so your never short of choice and you can get pizza hot dogs and kebabs during the day.

The location was OK right on the beach but we thought it might be better nearer sunny beach but that was just our view you could get a bus or taxi from outside the huge gates.

There wasn't much entertainment in the actual hotel but plenty on the resort and the first choice reps were always doing stuff by the pool in the day.

But the animation team were amazing. the only problem we found with this was that there wasn't enough room in the animation hall for all of the people there.

Overall a nice holiday, weather was fantastic so that was a bonus loads of sunbathing and chilling on the beach, highlight was definitely watching the Dolphins in the bay every morning from my balcony what a sight!!

Hotel looked very nice. Well decorated and furnished, lovely reception just watch out for the slippery floors, within minutes of arriving I nearly went ass over tit and there were no signs up to warn me. Hotel room was really lovely, linen changed every day as well as towels, maids tidied rooms and definitely earned their tips.
