Beaches

The resort was quite clean and there were numerous bars and clubs etc. The beach is not the best we have been to but still enjoyed going down there most days. Two sunbeds and a beach umbrella cost 2.00 for the whole day which was very good value. There are lots of shops for souvenirs but like everywhere else all the shops seem to stock the same items. I would definitely think about hiring a car when we go back just to visit other parts of the island. The market in the Monastery Square is worth a visit in the evening. Avoid the henna tatoos because the one our daughter had became infected. Was told by doctor that it was probably due to contaminated henna or other substance which caused an allergic reaction. Seemingly this happened to a large number of children!

The resort of Aiya Napa is excellent. Been there 5 times and have booked my honeymoon for this year in a hotel on the beach.
People very helpful and friendly. Lots to do and a wide selection of bars and resturants. Especially went to the kimon bar nearly every night. Staff excellent and friendly. good with kids of all ages. never saw any trouble in the resort in the 5 years I'v been.

We are going back to Napa in June (only 77 days and counting). There is something for everyone. It's not just what you see on the telly, there is everything from Night clubs to small tavernas. If you want 24hr partying, it's there. If you want to get away from it all, no problem. Beach is golden sand, with plenty of watersports.
There are boat trips to the rest of the island for the harbour. Plenty of shopping - the Gold is very good value for money, a small fairground area, bungee jumping etc - a cracking all-round resort. Loads of sunshine (42 degree's at the end of June !!!)
Couldn't recommend it highly enough - best holiday I've ever had.

As I said earlier, I've been to Ayia Napa many times and I love it there. There is plenty to do and the beaches are excellent. The one closest to the Tofinis was the Golden Sands beach, which if I remember correctly was allocated a blue flag, denoting the high standard of cleanliness. All the action goes on in what's known as the 'square'. There are plenty of nightclubs for those that are interested in them, lots of places to eat - both greek and engish food - there's even a Pizza Hut and McDonalds for those that can't do without them! There is a place called Lunar Park, which you can find near the cemetry at the traffic lights. It's like a mini fun fair where there is the famous Sling Shot for those of you that are daring enough! I didn't try it but my friend did and she loved it - so much that she did it twice! There's not much else for adults here but if you've got kids it's great as there's more for them to do - trampolining, bumper cars, racing cars, climbing frames, slides etc. They 'll love it! The atmosphere in Ayia Napa is great - I love it and can't wait to go back. If you're not into the club scene - don't be put off my reports that Ayia Napa is only for clubbers - this is not true, there's plenty to see and enjoy not only in Ayia Napa but in other parts of Cyprus too.

We were based at Grecian Bay and the beach was absolutely stunning, we also visited Cape Greco and Nissi Beach.
I didnt like Nissi as it was too busy but Cape Greco is excellent for snorkelling.
There was loads of places to eat for all tastes and budgets and the pubs/clubs were amazing.
I cant wait to go back this summer - only 8 weeks to go!

it is fantastic for both young and old, and for families to.
the nightlife is fantastic, the best hol i been on in fact! the resort was so clean and beautiful, even at night with all the drunks droppin litter it is cleaned up straight away.
the beaches are not that great, best beach is nissi beach but is soo overcrowded its difficult to fing a space to sunbathe. the rest are little man made beaches, with a bit of sand scattered over big rocks. personally, i preffered to sunbathe at the hotel pool rather than the beach so make sure ur hotel got nice pool area!!
