Get a ground room floor as it will help as there are no lifts to the other floors so it can be a bit of a walk with a pram. Make sure on the strip you visit the Meze restaurant with the funny symbols in the name. It is one of the best Meze places in Protaras. Also Molti was a great restaurant to stay in.

Protaras is a family resort with plenty of places to eat and with budgets to suit all.Has good nightlife for teenagers without having the worry that Ayia Napa has with loads of single groups.Overall a very good, safe family resort with plenty to do and very good beaches and hotel swimming pools.Beaches also very safe for children as the depth goes out very gradually in the sea.

The beach at fig tree bay was a little too crowded for us. Beautiful but too many people. We found a little cove accessed down the road beside Tonys supermarket. It was small and pebbly but not well used so it never got over crowded. Try and find it if you can. Also cape greco has a beautiful beach worth visiting if you hire a car.

Yes it is a little like blackpool, bars and the same gift shops, but if you get a car you can visit other areas which are quieter, but its not that bad

This resort is good for all ages the entertainment was tribute acts and karaoke but there where the likes of teejays who had a really good duo on on tues and fridays and the older kids liked the pool table in there. The beach was lovely with plenty of watersports we got pedaloes out and canoes and there is fly fish which is good. The only down side is it gets really busy with people hogging the pavements and i got a little fed up of saying excuse me to get past with prams.Mr Cods lovely food and Princes lovely also Diva Fl;ambe and of course the Island Affair

protoras as a whole is brilliant.food is good, place is clean and the beach is a few mins walk.do swim to this little island, the fish are amazing.two things to remember,1 it is expensive and 2,do go to the sphinx bar,the show is amazing.well worth the entrance fee.it seemed to go on all night and them dancers and the drag act will blow your mind away.went to a hypnatist show which was great.this is my second time there and would defo go back.all in all would give it a 9 out of 10

The resort was lively with plenty of places to eat. We went to Mr Cods fish n chip shop the plaice, chips and mushy peas were good. Hubby had cod roe and liked it.

We ate out every night, lots of good places but can be pricey though. Tropical Dreams Restaurant did a nice lamb hot pot and the breakfast was fine apart from the sausages in Cyprus are not like our English ones. I had Scampi 3 times and enjoyed it. We received free fruit and cocktails after a meal.

We think Protaros is the best place in Cyprus. We saw a few cats 2 dogs and a rat late one night disapeared in a sink near the Supermarket.

The Hotel opposite T Dreams had good outside entertainment and bingo. There were a few books to borrow in the reception of T Dreams. If you have any books to spare take them with you they need more.
