Get a ground room floor as it will help as there are no lifts to the other floors so it can be a bit of a walk with a pram.
Make sure on the strip you visit the Meze restaurant with the funny symbols in the name. It is one of the best Meze places in Protaras. Also Molti was a great restaurant to stay in.

The resort has something for everyone plenty of restaurants and bars. The beach is great with crystal clear sea. The water park at ayia napa is fantastic.

The best beach by far was Fig Tree Bay which was crystal clear and had great sane.
There was water sports on almost every beach to keep you entertained such as the banana boat.
The main strip had alot of bars and pubs which were excellent but tended to have Tom Jones or Elvis playing every night.
I would say one of the best restaurants was gorgeous which had excellent steak.

The resort is nice and clean.The beaches are not very deep but you can always get a sunbed and the sand is lovely.
They get a bit more crowded at weekends when a lot of the locals come down. There are plenty of good restaraunts and plenty of bars which mainly do karoke. My only gripe was there was to much Elvis mainly in the Love Boat nearly every night.
Saw a bit of trouble last weekend when all local youngsters come into town.

I never saw any litter the whole two weeks. The beaches are beautiful, but run down to the sea the sand burns feet very fast.
The only things to do in Protaras are sunbathe (too hot) or swim or snorkel. At night its just pubs or retaurants.
We went to the water parks three times in two weeks, nothing else to do. There are no shops to speak of and most of the trips are half days because of the heat.
If you want a nice relaxing soak up the sun and swim holiday then this place is perfect but if youve got kids and teenagers to entertain then go somewere a bit more lively.

Entertainers most days and nights. Very good although gets a bit repetitive. Pool great, big and clean. Loads for kids to do. Beach a bit rocky at this part of resort but further down beach lovely.
Have been to Protaras 4 times and have booked to go back in July 2006.

I was very pleased with the resort. Lot's of bars and restaurants to choose from, the entertainment is superb especially if you are a fan of Elvis. Lots of Elvis impersinators but we found the best at Bell's Pub.
The beach was superb and lots of watersports to chose from although it does get very busy at the weekend with locals.
We will be revisiting this resort again soon. The prices are very similar to home and we enjoyed our stay there.

The resort was clean, and had great restaraunts and bars.
We recommend the Raj indian restaraunt which is just right at the top of the road. Waves cocktail bar which is just at the top of the road, and The Rockafellas bar which is left at the top of the road.
The beach was very clean, with clear waters which are perfect for snorkelling, as there are lots of creatures.
We would definitely visit the resort again as it is perfect.

Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from we never had one bad meal when we stayed here however a couple of restaurants stood out.
They were Diva flambe restaurant were I had the most delicious lamb chops even though it was a little bit more expensive than other restaurants it was well worth it. The other was Flokkas apartments restaurant I had the barbeque chicken and it was gorgeous and very reasonable.
Teejays bar was worth a visit and if you are like us and have small children trying to sleep a visit to the victorian is worth it.
Beach was clean and had a vast array of watersports which are a must to try,also beach and water is very safe for bathing with children,loved this resort although if I go back I will visit when I havent got prams because a lot of the restaurants and bars were upstairs so we were restricted to what we could try.

Protaras was excellent, something for everybody. We ate at lots of different restaurents and the food quality was high everywhere.
The locals are very friendly and are lovely with the children.
The beach was clean and the water was clear and stayed shallow for a long way out.
All in all it was excellent and we would definatly return.
