Get a ground room floor as it will help as there are no lifts to the other floors so it can be a bit of a walk with a pram.
Make sure on the strip you visit the Meze restaurant with the funny symbols in the name. It is one of the best Meze places in Protaras. Also Molti was a great restaurant to stay in.

the resort was amazing on the beaches were clean and sparkeling and the amount of entertainment was great the cleaness was brilleant out there.the water sports were abousolutly out of this world there is so much to do your never sat down.

Protaras is a great family resort, with a busy side & a quiet side. Turn right to the busy bit & The Ghetto bar,it has great cocktails for £1 between 6 - 10pm the bar girls are really friendly. The Love boat to left has good entertainment.
We never had a bad meal in the fortnight we were there. Our favourite resatuant has to be the Anatolia, go past MACd's, left at the top and about 50 yards down. We went there 4 times and were never disappointed. The staff were great and always remembered us. The food fab and very reasonable, the best steak I've had in a long time, the mezes to die for. It is a family owned restaurant and really well run, the staff couldn't do enough for you.
You always get a free brandy or liqueur and the ladies get a rose and a kiss.
The beach is safe and there is a lovely breeze, plenty of watersports and a ice cream van to get cool drinks.
We had great time and would definitely go again.

The resort is good. It has lots of nice pubs and resturants. Our favourite bar was The Ghetto Bar and The Love Boat.
Plenty of shops to wander round pick up gifts etc. The jewlers are good and reasonably priced.
The beach is great, a bit crowded, sometimes you have to look really hard to find a space in the sand but if you do, it's worth it.

Protaras is a great resort for people of all ages, it caters well for families, couples and teenagers. The resort offers a number of bars and entertainment, althought he obsession with Elvis can bcome a little boring!
We found the Friends bar, Only Fools And Horses bar and the Love Boat bar good entertainment, if you have children a trip to Flintstones bar is in order!
All around the resort cocktails are cheap all night which is a bonus! The resort is fifteen minutes from Ayia Napa and the bus fare is 70c, or about 8-9 cyp in a taxi, Ayia Napa is definatly worth a visit, although we much prefered our resort.
In Protaras the food is delicious, we found the corner restaurant (flambe), at the top of the strip to be exceptional, and the hugh Chinese, i think it's called China House was very nice, a visit to the Japanese in Eden square is also worth while.
The beaches were excellent, and Fig tree bay is beautiful, the sea is the clearest and cleanest i've ever seen, although the beach was extremly busy at the weekends.
The weather in Cyprus was between 85 and 95 every day, and it was sunny with clear skies, the temperature did drop at night, which made it comfortable to sit and eat a meal.
We are already planning a trip back in September.

The resort itself was the cleanest I have ever been to. The entertainment in the resort is great, although there was a few Elvis impersonators there was plenty to do if you were not an Elvis fan.
The beaches are kept extremely clean.
We would not hesitate to go back to Protaras, and hopefully we will return in the near future.

The resort was very clean and tidy. Some of the resturants now have a childrens play area which helps. Pubs are all much the same. Beach was very clean with all the water sports you can think of. The beach got very busy with local people on sunday. I would go to this resort again. However i did think that the prices had gone up and the drink were dear.

The resort of Protaras very clean, some areas a little dangerous holes in the pavement a bit dodgy when returning to the hotel after a night out having had a few drinks.
That said once aware of this not a problem and no where near as bad as some places I have been. Entertainment I though was brilliant because I accepted it for what it is resort entertainment lots of Elvis Tom Jones ect some may say a bit cheesy but hey your on holiday chill out relax enjoy.

As you can see had a great holiday which has created one problem frightened of booking elsewhere now having had a great time here would I book again already have done for September this year.

Excellent resort, friendly, good quality, and value for money.
Didn't spend much time on the beach but did go on the Banana boats (4CYP) didn't get thrown off though, which was a bit disappointing.
Boat trip going to Cape Greco left the hotel everyday (7CYP) we went there in a hired car, but well worth a visit. Sea crystal clear and when the boats visit you can jump over board. Also in the resort there is a water, fire and light show (6CYP) food inside is optional (5CYP) meats pasta and salad plus dessert, I would say although no complaints maybe eat before you go. Starts 9.00pm every night. Quite entertaining, lasts about 1 hour, which is long enough, it's a bit like watching fireworks, after a little while you've seen all you need to. Glad we went though.
Restaurants in 'the strip' (the main street up to the main centre) are excellent we ate here every night and absolutely nothing bad to say about any of them. Costos very friendly in the Tropical dream restaurant and cocktail bar.Also highly recommend the Yanis Marie and Mandali Restaurant, but you really can't go wrong in any of these places. We ate out every night and including a round of drinks for 3 plus superb food with good selection we never paid more than 25 CYP, it was usually about the 22-23CYP mark. Children’s prices also very good.
We hired a jeep for 3 days which got us out and about, some lovely places to go.

Good entertainment for children especialy in Flintstones bar.
The food in the area is out of this world try the lamb kleftico and a mezzi.
I loved the beach but it was to hot to walk on.
Would definitely go back.

Didn't see rubbish strewn around. Elvis impersonaters nearly every night was pretty tedious, but the more you drank, the less you noticed.
Staff in 'Bells' bar very friendly.
Beach was clean but very rocky in the water so we tended to stay around the pool area.
I thoroughly enjoyed this resort and will most definitley be returning in the near future.
