Location
Where to start one of the main pools are shut for work so are the pool rivers. The small heated pool was always full and had a load of scum on it, and the large family pool was freezing. The sea was so full of jelly fish there was no way of going in and there where hundreds if not thousands washed up dead on the beach each day.
The food was always cold in both the restaurants and quite often under cooked out of the 7 nights we were there we ate out 5 of them. Most of the waiters and bar staff were good.
The entertainment was very bad at the hotel.
The toilet cleaners by the pool kept asking for tips I got asked 3 times by the same cleaner and he had not done anything he just run in the loo's when some one walked in them.
Our room cleaner was very good and put flowers out on the bed each day with 2 bottles of water where as you are only allowed 1.
Also all the staff think because we were British that we were loaded and kept making comments about how rich we were.
When we visited Hurgahda town we got the usually pressure buying from the locals but it was only the British and Dutch they bothered, not the Russians. Also the taxis try to charge you more if your British but offer what you think it should be and if they refuse just walk away the will soon change theie mind and call you back.
I would like to recommend the the Hard Rock cafe as the food was lovely and the staff were really friendly.
One last thing don't use the pirates diving center as they have failed the health and safety test

The hotel is kept very clean although certain areas could do with updating ie, Reception area, toilets and dining area downstairs, the rooms are modern and bright.
This hotel is set on its own beach with is nice and you can take day trips by boat from the hotels jetty (recommended, it cost about

The rooms were spotless.
The pools were lovely and the grounds.
The only downfall was the singer of an evening by the pool was awful we thought this must be karaoke but no he was a professional singer but overall very good holiday.

Staff were friendly and helpful in all areas of this very large hotel of which there are 900 plus rooms.
The rooms are clean and spacious and have air conditioning(thank goodness).
The food could be a little more varied but was ok especially if you like chicken wings or beef goulash.
The entertainment was not to our liking but is not of great importance to us because we can make our own fun, it was holiday camp kind of entertainment most nights Mr & Mrs one night and Miss Hilton another and so on.

I can honestly say that this was one of the nicest places i have been to, one of the best hotels, with the friendliest of staff and it was an althogether fab holiday.
ok, first of all lets get the cons over with - and there arent many.
1. animation team a little poo
solution: bring some cards, maybe a cd player and some board games.
2. Tiny bit of pestering around the pool now and again
solution: it really is a TINY bit of hasseling. just be firm and say no thank you and that you just want to relax.
3. chemist etc expensive
solution: if you are prone to upset tummy, avoid food that mite aggravate it!
4. Main town of hurghada: aLOT of hasseling!
solution:either dont go or just dont talk at ALL to anyone. cos once you talk...your stuck.
thats it.
now for the pros:
1. hotel is gorgeous with lots of space
2. rooms are spacious and superbly cleaned
3. Pools are to die for, very clean and large
4. plenty of sunbeds
5. private beach: may not be ''real sand'' but lets not get picky!
6. food. do not believe everything you read! yes it gets a little cold until its changed over - as does any buffet, so get down there early! there is a huge variety. real yummy :)
7. staff, cleaners, reception ALL very friendly - tip them at beginning of stay and at end. or leave

Please save yourself the money, don't stay at this hotel!!
My husband and I ended up very ill from the lack of hygiene, myself with acute bronchitis and my husband with severe food poisoning.
We were not the only ones, we talked to other guests in the hotel, the majority of people were ill.We thought oh the Hilton nothing can go wrong with a name like that, we were very wrong!

I travelled with three teenage girls who thoroughly enjoyed themselves, particularly the (very mild) flirting from the waiters, the mini golf, and the camel rides, not to mention the lazing by the pool and beach (loads of sunbeds within easy reach of the bars.) None of us were ill, there was always something to eat that we liked and we were sad to leave. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

THE HOTEL
This is the hotel to visit, I assure you!
On arrival at about 11pm, we were warmly greeted in reception & served a traditional Egyptian drink and were given our room keys ( we were upgraded to a larger room!) The porters brought our bags to us and we swiftly made our way to the pool bar for a drink.
Throughout the week we were very well looked after! We spoke to most of the hotel workers ( mainly men as most women stayed at home) and they were kind and genuinely interested in us, where we were from, was there anything we needed, did we enjoy the hotel? We felt like VIPs!
We spent 5 out of our 7 days by the pool and visited the beach for a swim and a snorkel too! The pool was always clean and we would see someone coming to clean it during the day too. Free towels can be collected each morning & you can even swap them during the day for a fresh one if you so desire! The sea was so very warm and when we went snorkeling we could see lots of beautifully coloured fish! Admittedly, as the beach was made up of some artificial sand it tended to cloud the water so visibility was moderate, but lots of fun! There are plenty of beds by the pool and on the private beach. We never had to go far to search for a bed. Throughout the day if you are staying by the pool or beach you will have people who work for the local amenities ( gym, beauty salon, scuba diving, horse riding) and they will come and ask you if you are interested, a polite

Checking in was very straight forward and we were then taken to our apartment by mini van (the resort is big ) which was very much appreciated. We had a room with balconies overlooking the sea and pool complex. Everything about the room was great; cleaned every day, fresh towels and bottled water daily and air conditioning which worked a treat which was essential overnight.
The range of food at the two all inclusive restaurants was huge and there were always numerous choices. The poolside bar provided icy cold drinks which were essential and the open air grill cooking and serving burgers and hot dogs was always a popular alternative to the restaurants.
The water in the pool seemed to be cooled as compared to the sea, it was much more refreshing. We didn't use the beach for sunbathing but did swim and close to shore it was very warm. There is a jetty just off the beach which skirts a coral reef where snorkelling is a must. We also had a trial scuba dive and the onsite school was very professional and really looked after us.
We used the hairdressers, shops and masseurs during our stay and found them all to be courteous and friendly.
We are already planning our return trip for next year.

The pools were huge and although lots in hotel they were never over packed.
The food was alright as buffets go. The second week repeated the same meals but they were edible and for a change we did try the lotus bar which sold pizzas at reasonable prices.
The staff were very friendly and helpful always.
The entertainment was abit of a let down on an evening but my 13 year old girl seemed to enjoy watching them. The amplitheatre only supplied small plastic cups of half filled drinks ( with the heat you needed more).
The only snag was on leaving you had to be out of your room by 12 lunch so we kept our room open until 6pm. at 6pm we were told that the all inclusive ended. We argued this out with the Manager as this never happened in any hotel before and he finally gave in and let us keep our all inclusive bands till we left at 8.30 ish pm.
The hotel on a whole is fantastic and if you want sun, sea and relaxation this is definetely for you.
I shall be booking in with the family for next year.
