Location
The hotel was lovely, rooms were very spacious and clean we paid for a view which was worth every penny as some rooms are in the middle of nowhere.
The hotel is really big so people might find this off putting. I would advise people to stay bed and breakfast and not all inclusive as the food is really really bad, such a poor selction and my boyfriend was sick from a chicken dish which resulted in a doctor coming out to give him injections, this put us off eating anyway. The centre had lots of restaurants so you could eat out, the centre is about 10 minutes away in a taxi.
Overall I wouldnt stay in this hotel if I returned to egypt but I doubt I would return as I didnt think it was as nice as I thought it would be.
Oh and if you dont like italians do not stay here!!

The staff are all very friendly and bend over backwards trying to help you.
When we arrived, we had some problems with our room (the first had a one bed when we had asked for two, the second was too smoky, in the third the AC didnt work but the hotel sorted it out for us no problems and it didnt affect our mood at all.
I recommend the chocholate crepes for breakfast (and croissants)in the main restaurant and lunch in the grill (amazing views)!! Some people may find the food a bit repetitive but at least none of our party got even a hint of a bad tummy!! The fresh pizzas to order are a must.
The hotel has a beautiful reef off the beach and the snorkelling was as good as when we went to Ras Mohammed!! You can play tennis and have a go at archery, though I believe the hours these are open is about 3-6 only. You have to pay to play pool, hire the snorekeling gear and there is no large screen for footie matches etc... though this did not hamper our holiday.
The disco here is a let down as the DJ plays mostly Italian music and there is no British entertainment team (the resort is mostly catered for Italians).
However, there is a shisha area (fantastic fun), evening shows on some nights and the resort is a mere

The hotel grounds, pool areas and beach are spectacular. The relax pool was a hidden oasis, with wooden double day beds, hammocks and huge sun loungers. It was always empty, probably because the pool was freezing, but it was so peaceful and calming.
Despite the fact that we did not understand a word the entertainment team were saying, we had a good laugh at all the activities, and if I was Italian, I would have been thrilled at the range of entertainment on offer.
The range of facilities on offer at the hotel, and the choice of food were exceptional, and we will certainly be going back. A word of warning, if going in our winter, take some warm clothes for evening, and its very casual, so no need for fancy dresses, etc.

The complex is large enough to wander around for a couple of hours but the beach & heated main pool really made it for us.
The children joined in with the nightly kids dancing on the main stage area near reception and really enjoyed it, we had a great time as we ended up with about 8 other Brits sitting in one huge group ~ Handy tip: tip the waiters in the bar about

The complex is huge with swimming pools galore most of them with pool side bars and snacks and we never had a problem getting a sunbed.
Our favourite was to head for the beach (7.30am - 8.00am to ensure a bed) put the towels out and then return to the Grill Bar for breakfast, fresh croissants & omelettes overlooking the sea (what a view).
The hotel is all inclusive and this means food and drink till any hour - note the drinks are the local beers and spirits but you do get used to them. The food is of a good standard and should suit most people as you get a choice to eat in anyone of the Main Restaurant - the Grill Bar or the Italian Restaurant, but after the main meal times all inclusive tends to be cold pizza (never needed the immodium once during the whole week and we ate everywhere and drank everything including having ice in all of our drinks)
The only thing that lets this hotel down is the lack of quality entertainment, they cater mainly for the Italians (40%) and the Russians (40%) and nearly every night they have a dance/comic sketch themed programme, most Europeans just sit around talking amongst themselves.
If you want to get out and about it is only

The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. A must is the omelettes for breakfast and the outdoor BBQ nightly at the main restaurant.

We went with Kate's Mum and her partner Chris after telling them what a fantastic time we'd had in Sharm (Hilton Sharks Bay) back in May. When we arrived we were a little dissapointed at our first sight of the hotel - there was building work going on, and Chris & Di (Kates Mum remember) were allocated a room overlooking it. The staff at reception agreed to move them the very next morning - which they did without fuss or quibble.
Okay - I'm not going to beat around the bush any longer - THIS IS A FANTASTIC HOTEL, AND A GREAT PLACE FOR YOUR HOLIDAY !!!! The facilities, cleanliness, food (EXCELLENT - particularly the fabulous Moonlight Restaurant)and most of all the staff, were all completely brilliant. I must apologise for keeping the lads in the bar up until 5AM though - it was (and still is) Rammadan, and they were obviously anxious to get home to eat before sunrise. However, they did not complain once, and joined us in laughing at just about everything. Lovely blokes - all of them.
This place beat the Hilton in Sharks Bay (and that was very good) by a country mile. Kate and I were genuinely sad to leave, so today (just 5 days after getting back) we've booked to go there again for 2 weeks at the end of May. If it ain't bust - don't fix it, and unless you like to moan at just about everything, you'll love this place hopefully as much as we did. Go there. Peace be with you !

There are plenty of places to eat and the food in all restaurants (including beach bar) was excellent and certainly plentiful. Although sometimes repetitive in the main restaurant, there was always something that I liked.
The complex is accessed by a long drive and there are two security gates. Very security conscience after recent bombings.

The Hotel is in a great location. The Coral reef is amazing. You are a short ride away from both Narma Bay and the Old Sharm (both worth a visit).
The Staff throughout the hotel were wonderful, especially the young man that cleaned our room every day. A real 'treasure'. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the Staff. They were very friendly and had a great sense of humour.
The entertainment was okay if you were Italian or
Russian but there wasn't a lot going on for the English.

The staff were brilliant nothing was too much trouble for them. The Colombo pool was best and the Citidal grill the best restaurant. Entertainment we found ok they always asked us to join in and the shows they put on at nightime were geared to all nationalities.
The food got a bit repetetive but there was always a good selection.
