Rooms: we had a family room which was excellent- 2 separate bedrooms and both were a good size. Room was cleaned thoroughly every day. TV, actually had cartoon network for the kids which was a bonus.
Food: couldn't fault it. To be honest we could have eaten in the buffet every day and not be bored. The food was great quality, hot and all surfaces were kept exceptionally clean. Our favourite a la cartes were the Italian and Chinese, well worth a visit. Snack bars were also excellent- especially loved the freshly made pizzas!!
Pools: 3 large pools, each catering for different tastes. We stayed by the waterfall pool as we preferred it quieter and not once did we have a problem getting sunbeds. If you needed more than you could find together the pool guys would sort it. Not once were we out before 8am.
Trips: we did the dinner with the stars and horseriding through first choice, which we really enjoyed. The glass bottomed boat we booked through desert rose on site, which was great value.
Diving: pre-booked from the UK with Emperor Divers. It was my husband and elder daughters first real diving since qualifying in the UK and they were very impressed with them. Friends who came out for a week and are experienced divers also said they were among the best they has dived with.
Entertainment: to be honest we didn't need it. We were quite happy sat in the comfy chairs in the lobby playing games. The bar staff were great and kept you supplied with drinks- usually a round of their fab chocolate milkshakes!!
So that is it in a nutshell- for a large hotel is has a lovely relaxing atmosphere and considering it was fully booked it never felt crowded. We had a great stay.

The food was lovely, it was really good that you could visit the a la carte restaurants every night as long as you booked them in the conference room at 10am. The chinese restaurant was the best the food was out fo this world and service very good. The meditaranean was very nice aswell and service was the best in here you barely had to ask for a drink as they just topped you up constantly. The italian was also very good but just didnt feel quite as good as the others. The main buffet restaurant was ok, i understand it must be hard to cater for all different tastes and i accept that. There was a good choice of food but not always great quality. The cakes looked lovely but they didnt taste very nice. I couldnt work out what any of them were.
The hotel was spotlessly clean. The cleaners were out from dusk till dawn cleaning rooms, the resort, the lobby, the bathrooms, just everywhere. Our room was cleaned everyday.
The hotel is in nabq bay, about 20mins outside of naama bay and about 15 minutes from the airport. Its not in the middle of no-where like some people say. There are plenty of shops around it, a mcdonalds, kfc and a starbucks. A few restaurants including a lovely chinese called peking. A metro supermarket, a bank and a few clothes shops.
The hotel entertaintment is very poor and more focused towards the foreign guests. There were a few kareoke singers but they were very poor and done the same set every night. The amphi-theatre was aimed towards kids and wasnt to my liking. It was ok just sitting in the lobby and having a few drinks but i think it you were here for 2 weeks it may be a bit boring. Naama bay is onyl 15minutes in a taxi and the offer a free shuttle bus at night. We got a taxi home for 50egyptian pound (about

Hotel was always kept clean and all the staff were great. The only thing that put us off were the Russians so very abusive to the staff and won't wait in turn for anything, always want more.
Had a great holiday went on a few trips snorkeling Bedouin night and the quad biking great would go again as its the best hotel around the area booked again for next year weather 33degrees can't beat that for March

The hotel in our opinion should not be a five star, as have stayed in better four star hotels in Egypt. The main swimming pool area is a nightmare if you have not got a sunbed by 8.30am, then you won't get one. The other two pools are just as bad, as some people pay the pool guys to save their beds. The pools are very slippery and saw loads of people using crutches were they had fallen, my advise wear beach shoes around the pools and wear them in the big pool, as our son cut his feet many a time on the floor of the pool.
Our room was kept very clean by the cleaner every day, and he was one of the friendliest staff their. Alot of the staff seemed to have forgotten how to smile or say hello.
We did not give many tips out as our attitude is you need to be consistent for the 14 days that we are there not just make a fuss when they know you are due to fly home, and we found that this did not happen like that.
100% that you will get the egyption tummy while being there. Do not go to the clinic, just go outside the hotel to the pharmacy you will save youself about

We arrived at the hotel 7pm on the night time, after been taken to our room, we were greeted to a room that hadn't been cleaned. We were told to wait out on the balcony till the cleaner came to clean it!!!! After the cleaner came he looked around the room and said it had been done. Further on my inspection the over sheet on the bed has orange and brown stains on and there was long black hairs in the bath, hmmm my hair is blonde.
The general standard of this hotel was shocking. The swimming pool wasn't cleaned the whole time we were there, with no filter on either, around the side of the pool was a rim of dead skin and dirt.
The 2nd day into our HONEYMOON my hisband became ill with stomach upset after two doses of tablets @

Hotel room was a house that jack built, bathroom fittings hanging off wardrobes dropping off hinges and where our room was in the 21 block noise all night from arrivals and departures the airport is 5 Min's from hotel so the noise off planes was breaking the sound barrier.
We had a 10 min walk to the main restaurant from our room be prepared to walk as everywhere in the hotel is spread out, the hotel is a rip off as well you have to upgrade to get access to certain areas and a restaurant all-inclusive is supposed to be all-inclusive not oh well you can upgrade.
The shops in the hotel were a fortune

I have been to egypt before and had a great time, but not this time. Apparently the hotel this year had totally changed, if you wanted decent food then you had to pay extra to upgrade to vip, which we all did.
The staff in the vip lounge and dining area were very nice, the cleaning staff were very nice the pool was dirty and I was very ill for most of the holiday, this illness carried on when I got home for at least three weeks causing me to have time off work and alot of tests done.
The entertainment for the kids was great, you had to be up early for a sunbed. Im not a snob but Egypt two years ago was fab Egypt today is like Benidorm but hotter. Good luck

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. Now the not so good - the food is at best average although to be fair there is plenty of choice and enough of it and the meal times are pretty good - it's just not up to any decent standard. But we knew that before hand and to be honest we just go for the weather.
The hotel staff are great and when you think they earn perhaps
