Try to get a sea view room overlooking the lovely gardens and sea.
The buffet is excellent and we did not get sick.
Amazing place.

You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.
Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.

Even number rooms face the sun, odd number rooms are on the dark side and never see the sun.

this resort was full of life at night but found no prices on goods always having to haggle from millionaire prices that they start from to maybe three times above what we would pay at home that would be there bottom price and seem to get angry when you say thats to much i was glad to get out of the shops and never tried again all i would get is you english never buy well now you know why im only going back for the sun and pyramids and not haggling

the resort seemed clean enough and there was plenty of staff cleanig , we did not see any signs of entertainment apart from the waiters arguing over spoons

The resort was really spotless, but naama bay was a bit too much in your face for us.The beach is quite course under foot,a bit hilly but still worthwhile spending some time there.Go there you will enjoy it.

Sadly, the storms disrupted the area tremendously, and with all the will in the world, Egyptians are not the best at dealing a crisis, apart for the hotel team who were fantastic.
The hotel beach wasn't particularly sandy, but it was spotless and very well run.
Naama is very busy and you are not left alone, which can be uncomfortable.
Naama Bay and Old Town were out of action for a day or two, then business as usual, with very visual reminders of the catastrophe of recent nights.

The resort on the whole was good however it is not wheelchair friendly. Lots of steps some quite high, pavements in between buildings can be none existent.

Sadly there was a very bad storm during our stay. The resort suffered because of this. Roads flooded and lots of mud collected due to this. Heavy rain has nowhere to go here, they don't get rainstorms very often, so are not equiped to deal with them. Luckily I was there last year, and can report that the resort was better, the situation this year was just bad luck.

Resort itself very loud and utter bedlam at night. Prepare to have hassle/ in the day a lot quieter but haggles for your goods and dictate terms. They always try to rip you off.
Many pubs and clubs although quite expensive
Resort beach area good as maintained by hotels usually.Lack of public area's however.
Yes, its ok when you get use to it and knoew your way round.

I wont be going back. The majority of customers are All Inclusive anyway so there isnt much to see outside of the hotels. The whole resort is dropped on the edge of the desert and is there solely to provide hotels for tourists, this gives it a manufactured feel and leaves it with no character whatsoever. The flies were horrendous during our visit, on you constantly, only the sea or pools provide any escape.
We only spent a few hours at the beach because it was a shelf. Bearing in mind its desert location there isnt much sand either! We went not long after flash floods which probably had an adverse affect to be fair.
The real plus points are the snorkelling and diving. Clear waters and an amazing array of fish and coral. We also did a quadbiking trip into the desert where we were promised a trip to a genuine bedouine tent village which turned out to be a hastily erected canvas providing overpriced soft drinks.
I know its personal preference but how anybody could choose this resort over some of our favourite european holidays is beyond me. Try Lindos/Pefkos in Greece or Olu Deniz in Turkey and then tell me Sharm is better and I would try to have you sectioned.

when we first arrived we all thought, how beautiful the resort was with the 12 beautiful pools and the wonderful flowers, this was so short lived once we had sampled the restaurant.
4 restaurants should of been on offer but 2 were never open and the dawar al a carte restaurant only severed pizzas between 2.30pm and 4pm. the toilets in this restaurant were diabolical.
