Try to get a sea view room overlooking the lovely gardens and sea.
The buffet is excellent and we did not get sick.
Amazing place.

You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.
Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.

Even number rooms face the sun, odd number rooms are on the dark side and never see the sun.

The resort was very clean. The private beach was clean, well maintained but rather small so became very crowded. The sea and coral which is protected was very good and deserves to be protected.

The Resort cleanliness was not good lots of litter around.
The only Entertainment we had trouble with was with the locals trying really hard to get you into their shops.
Again lots of rubbish on the Beach.
Due to all these issues we would not vist Sharm again.

Nabq Bay is a little out of the way. The snorkelling off the beach is not as good as elsewhere in Sharm. As beaches seem to belong to individual hotels, it is difficult to comment on them as per resort. We certainly won't visit Nabq Bay again and will not go with Thomas Cook either as the information given to us by the local travel agent office didn't match the reality of the resort.

The resort was clean, entertainment in Naama Bay was poor, the beach was OK but we were allocated a very small area.
Once you stepped out of the Hotel, you were always 'hounded' by locals with:-
"are you English?"
"Oh, I like English people"
"Tell me, why don't many English people come to Egypt anymore?"
"What is the credit crunch?"
"Come across the road, and I will give you my card"
Beware!

Nabq is developing, so has lots of building, it has also plenty of small souvenir shops, competing for your business.
The beach is nice, kinda grainy sand, that is shallow for about a mile (no kidding), so beach shoes, or aqua socks are a good idea. You can get them there for about £3.
There are loads of lovely fish, and it is like a warm aquarium. there are jetties to help you get out there, and it is well worth it.
There is pubs and bars also in Nabq, and plenty going on in the hotels.

we went to the the sharm beach and it was a nightmare with all the flies. and there was plenty if jellyfish in the sea. but it was a day out and we anjoyed most of it.
would definatly go back to sharm resort.
although i would make sure the travel agent made it clear to us that we were not going to get a kitchen as we were self catering and only booked a standered room. apart from that i loved stayin at the sharm resort and would definatly go back.

Nabq Bay in Sharm el Sheikh. New part of hotel villages. This place is good for snorkeling and diving. But the most interesting activities are related to boat trips (diving, fishing, sea scope, etc.). Far from Naama Bay. Very poor beach due to cliff type terrains.

the resort overall was clean, a lot of unfinished buildings which were not being worked on.
