Try to get a sea view room overlooking the lovely gardens and sea.
The buffet is excellent and we did not get sick.
Amazing place.

You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.
Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.

Even number rooms face the sun, odd number rooms are on the dark side and never see the sun.

This hotel is not in a busy resort, if you want a thumping nightlife, NaamaBay is probably a better choice.
There is a selection of fast food and bars to visit here, The 3 Crowns was a brilliant ' English pub ', serving cold beer and an excellent fillet steak.

Should you want to venture out from the hotel complex, don't be afraid to use the hotel taxi service, they drop you where you want, and pick you up from the same place at the time you want. The driver will not want payment until he collects you. A visit to Nahama Bay & Sharm old market is a must, Evening is the best time.
swimming in the sea is a must with a snorkel, It is like being in a tropical fish tank.
The resort is very clean and comes alive at night in Soho Square, which is 5mins walk from the complex, although you can get a taxi, but by the time you have agreed a price you could have walked there.
We would visit the resort again, but maybe to a better class hotel in the same area.

This area appears tired and in need of a good refurbishment, many damaged, sunbeds and shades just left on beach, litter etc.

Therre is an awful lot of building work going on in Sharm around all the hotels. whilst you cant hear it, step outside and 5 mins away you can see it, so you have piles of rubbish about, maybe in a couple of years i would return and all the new hotels will have been built and it will look completely different.
We didnt go out of the hotel complex, but again i think there will be a little more to do here in a year or so.
The beach is a sand but has rough sharp bits in it, so its not a golden sand you might imagine, the sea is full of coral so you must wear these special rubber shoes otherwise you will be cut to ribbons. remember the beaches are privately owned by the hotels on the front, some of the hotels behind are allowed to use the beach but dont assume you can automatically stroll down to the beach whereever you stay because you cant. the beach guys really look after you too and they have beach volleyball and other entertainment on too. i would visit Sharm again but in a year or two.

was quite clean although alot of building work going on all over but there is no problem with noise. there is an english pub which shows footy for the blokes but do serve meals which are great. beer not too dear either. the beach is nice although a long walk out to go for swim. kept clean but not as nice sand as we have had on other beaches we have stayed at. it is sand though and not pebble. plenty of loungers and do have wind breaks around them.
