Try to get a sea view room overlooking the lovely gardens and sea.
The buffet is excellent and we did not get sick.
Amazing place.

You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.
Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.

Even number rooms face the sun, odd number rooms are on the dark side and never see the sun.

Lively and busy resort with a lot going on. Plenty of eating places with a good choice of food. Very noisy from, mainly from "Pacha" dance club ALL night, midnight until 6.00am, thumping and LOUD base. Nice beach with beautiful clear blue warm sea. You will get a lot of hassle from all shopkeepers, restaurants and bars, asking you to go in. Quite a lot of cons here so be careful and agree prices before you purchase anything. If you have any problems, just threaten to get the"tourist police" to get involved. Don't be afraid to haggle with everybody over the prices. You will be surprised how much you can reduce the asking price by, some cases as much as 75%.

Sharm is nice. Soho Square amazingly modern. Naama Bay good for shopping. Great snorkelling.

the hotel resort was clean any tidy, but cant say that about the pavements and areas out side the hotel. There are shows and entertainment in walking distance. there is a free shuttle bus from the hotel to the beach which runs at certain time troughout the day. the beach was nice, but there are a few step down to it, not so good when coming back up. I would certainly return to tropica tivoli, in fact im going in may 2011

Apart from the ice bar which is 150 egyptian pounds each to get in (for 30 minutes) there is very little else to do in sharks bay

We went out of our complex on two occasions but found the shop assistants/owners very pushy trying to coax you into the shop and hassle you to buy. But other than that it was a lovely, clean and tidy resort.

Soho Square the reps say this is better than Naarma bay it is much cleaner and impressive and the shop keepers do not haress as much however there are more shops at Naarma bay.
the beach was a private one and the snacks here were much better and you serve yourself with the food and some soft drinks.
the beach was clean and well staffed having some one to watch the coral which if you can use snorkelling gear was a must.
watch the camel men as they get you on the camels for a picture and the next thing your up in the air and off for a ride then they want paying on the whole though they were ok if you say no to them.
