Try to get a sea view room overlooking the lovely gardens and sea.
The buffet is excellent and we did not get sick.
Amazing place.

You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.
Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.

Even number rooms face the sun, odd number rooms are on the dark side and never see the sun.

Beaches

Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Security was high, with checkpoints on entry and exit. Entertainment, as in most places in Egypt was vey low key. The beach was clean, but the sand is gritty, as opposed to smooth. We found food and drink to be expensive in general, however there was your usual KFC, Chinese Indian e.t.c. We will return to Sharm one day.

Naama Bay in Sharm el-Sheikh was lovely, though my partner remarked how desolate it looked as we flew in! There is a lot of building work ongoing and I would envisage this to be the case for a long time to come! There are a number of bars/restaurants etc, and you can have your pick - prices are good and the people are wonderful. The Tavern Bar is where a lot of English people go and always has football/rugby on projector screens. The beaches are excellent and the coral is amazing, it has to be seen in person to appreciate it. We went snorkelling on a boat trip to Tiran Island, quad biking in the desert and horse riding at Omar Stables - all were very enjoyable. The Old Town is very nice, more traditional and much quieter than Naama Bay. We would definitely return to Sharm el-Sheikh

There are 5 pools, which include an AquaPark for adult and one for the kiddies. All of these are sparkling clean and the lifeguards on duty are well trained. The beach is fantastic - also has the beach bar where food is served for lunch and entertainment is provided during the lunch hours - usually from 12hoo to approx. 2pm. There is also entertainment at night at the beach bar and you could also dine there in the evening, however this is not part of the all inclusive. We have dined there and the food is superb!

Sorry, but we've visited much better resorts for less money. No disrespect to the people we met as they were friendly, courteous and very helpful. Best wishes for a return to the tourist numbers.

Purpose built for the holiday maker. Good if you like fake goods you can get anything from a Chanel handbag to a diamond rolex watch. Soho very over rated and over priced. Sealife awesome so clear and saw some fantastic fish
Soho over priced and over rated. Good if you like fake. You could buy anything from a Gucci bag to a diamond rolex. Sea awesome with some fantastic fish. Was told though by Thomas Cook rep that shark nets were in place so let our children and ourselves go swimming only to find out later that they were not. Suspected shark attack while we were there.
