Try to get a sea view room overlooking the lovely gardens and sea.
The buffet is excellent and we did not get sick.
Amazing place.

You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.
Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.

Even number rooms face the sun, odd number rooms are on the dark side and never see the sun.

Did not visit the resort

The resort is absolutely beautiful. The scenery is amazing. Each hotel has their own private bit of the beach but the Sonesta beach resorts piece of beach is quite small, the sun loungers are packed together like sardines, but the views are wonderful. The fish are so colourful and you don't have to go far out in the water to see them, they swim around your legs but don't touch you. Needless to say after the unfotunate episodes with the shark attacks I don't think many people will venture out into the water now.

Resort very clean in Sharm
Good array of bars, clubs and restaurants
Beach better in sharks bay than sharm, some very crowded and although private they share with other hotels
Would go back to Egypt, but after 10 times a different area out of Naama Bay.

it is a bit hard to ask about the resort cleanliness as you are in the desert, so it is dusty and sandy? no resort entertainment, beach standard is not good as there is no beach just floating pontoons going out to sea, but there is a small walkway where you can put a sunbed to lay on, most people stayed around the pool or sunbathed on the hotel lawn's.
but having said all this I would go back again knowing now what I know.
I was their during shark attack week but that still didn't put me off.

Naaba Bay is a few miles away but is very dirty.
Entertainment is a joke.
The Red Sea is fabulous but the beach needs to be cleaned up of all the old cigarette ends.

HSB is set at the end of a road, the nearest facilities for eating/drinking outside the hotel is Soho Square, approximately 5/10 mins walk, shops, a few restaurants and bars are here, worth a visit, the fountain in the square is impressive when it starts going when the music starts. We visited the Queen Vic Pub, quite expensive for drinks here but atmosphere okay.
Naama Bay accessible either in taxi or shuttle bus from hotel, very busy, plenty of shops, outside bars and restaurants to choose from, reasonably priced to eat out here too.

sharm is all about the tourist, it is a 24 hours place, everything is open all the time and you can travel from area to area very cheaply, ask your rep about the average cost from the hotel to different areas and make a note and refuse to pay any more than that, check the cost of the trip before getting in a taxi. if you want to tip that is ok.
You can not get bored in Sharm there is something for everyone, disco to resturants.
To get on to the beach from the Rehana resort Hotel you need to go through a tunnel under the road that leads to the Rehana Royal Beach and Spa, there is a shuttle bas tha runs from here to the beach and back from 9am - sunset. The beach at our hotel is not very sandy but it is OK when you go into the water you are on a dead coral reef, you can walk out quiet a distance and not be above your calf, the fish you see are amazing, you will need to wear beach shoes as it is very hard on the feet. you can snorkle off the jetty in the deeper water but if you are not a strong swimmer do not do this on your own as there can be quiet a current there.
Enjoy your holiday.

resort was very clean well kept gardens always something being done,
the evening entertainment was low key, but you could go into town each night the hotel ran a free shuttle bus,
beach was good, but it is on three levels, i have walking
difficulties getting down not to bad, going up was a problem,
in 40 degree heat then when you got to the top you had a steep incline to walk up which
first choice dont mention in there brochure,so i had to stay
round the pool outside my room, they knew of my problems when i booked the holiday,
all in clusive finishes at noon when you check out of your
room, so if you have a late flight it becomes rather expensive
paying for food and drinks

Naama Bay is a busy area but in a good way. A must visit is Soho Square where you will find any type of entertainment you would require.
The beach was private to the hotel but they all looked very much the same. Beautiful coral & fishes. A great experience.

nabq bay was a lovely resort, far enough from the hustle and bustle of sharm but it had its own shops and restaurants.
