Try to get a sea view room overlooking the lovely gardens and sea.
The buffet is excellent and we did not get sick.
Amazing place.

You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.
Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.

Even number rooms face the sun, odd number rooms are on the dark side and never see the sun.

Beaches
Perfect for us - enjoyed the food a lot particularly Tam Tams (near Hilton on the beach front). As long as your hotel has access to one of the private beaches the beach is lovely but the public beaches are small in Naama bay. Not very lively - teenagers might have been a bit bored in the evening and alchol is fairly expensive - but if youre in to wondering around shops, bar hopping and taking time over meals with music then its lovely. Dont go expecting an authentic egyptian experience but for a beach holiday which is a bit more exotic than the usual its great.
Great place, relaxing, but lively if you wished.Great for most age groups but probably boring for -(well we've all seen that reps programme). Naama Bay has many places to eat and drink of just about every description and taste at very low prices so it well worth the short taxi ride. Plenty of shopping and haggling and just pretend you are Italian-ciao baby.
The beach looks like something from a movie set, I remember talking to my family late one evening and commenting on how beautiful it looks, it has palm trees spread across it and beautiful flowers.
Sharm El Sheikh is quiet location with very little evening entertainment. There are good selection of tours and the boat trips are very good for snorkelling and scuba diving. Sharm El Sheikh is a great resort for relaxing.
The resort was ok, that is about it. There are hundreds of outlets selling the same gifts it seemed. The Egyptians are known for talking up their individual outlet but having said that the first day barage of annoying people asking me where, who, how etc seemed to subdue, to my great relief.
The only beach I went to was more shell than sand and you could only enter the water at the end of a jetty. This however was not the main beach in Na'ama Bay.
There were a few clubs, plenty of casinos and restaurants.
The Taxi service is a definate NO NO. But, unless your hotel does a shuttle, they are unfortunatley necessary. You do have to take your life into your own hands!!

Having visited Sharm in 2001, even I was taken a little aback by how much it has expanded. Naama Bay has loads to offer and a bustling nightlife for nocturnal types.
The beach at Pyramisa is clean although the sand is rather coarse and sharp. There is windsurfing, waterskiing, bananaboats etc all at the beach, although the true beauty of this resort lies in the waters of the Red Sea. There is an abundance of beautifully coloured fish and corals found when snorkelling or diving...to miss these breathtaking sights would be plain madness!! Would we visit again...Absolutely!!

Situated just over the road from the excellent beach and fantastic snorkelling and diving facilites.
There are numerous places to eat out in the centre of Naama Bay at low low prices. Dananeer highly recommended.
Many shops and bazars for the shopaholic!
Just booked to return again in September.

The resort was fine, although LTI are having some building work done to extend the hotel, but nothing that disturbed us.
We found the entertainment to be average at night,we much
preferred to have a drink in the reception.the beach was really clean, and food and drink at the beach bar was lovely.

The beach was very crowded and we had trouble getting sun beds so tended to stay around the pool area.
What lets the whole place down, including Naama bay, the main resort, is the lack of care by the staff of all the hotels and bars, restaurants.
The food was appaling in the restaurants, thank god for mcdonalds, kfc and pizza hut. Which are located in Naama bay. Don't visit any of the Lebanese restaurants. One night we waited one hour for two steaks which looked like it had been scraped off a desert road. Totally horrible. And then the waiter told us it was our fault we didn't like it!!!
The constant hassle you get is also a major let down. Every where you go all you get is hassle off shop owners, taxi drivers. And they insult you if you refuse.
The nightlife is poor, There is Pacha in naama bay which is hugely over priced and the other little bars and clubs are similar. The only good experience we had was quad biking in the desert which is amazing!
I would not recommend Egypt at all. Go to Tunisia instead. Much more satisfying.
