Try to get a sea view room overlooking the lovely gardens and sea.
The buffet is excellent and we did not get sick.
Amazing place.

You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.
Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.

Even number rooms face the sun, odd number rooms are on the dark side and never see the sun.

Beaches

Beaches very clean and uncrowded. All staff helpful and this was a genuine attitude. I felt protective towards them. Few shops outside all selling the same things i.e Pashminas. Have to barter but is very good natured.

It is a bit scruffy here because for every 1 hotel they are building another 10 - so loads of building work although none impacts on the holiday maker - no noisy machines etc as all done by hand. Not much to do here few shops and couple diners/Mc Donalds etc however get the blue minibus to Nemma bay - about £1 per person and they take you right there.

The resort itself was beautiful. the beach was wonderful, the water was so clear and great for fans of snorkelling but also great if you just want to lounge on the beach sunbathing. You get lots of things offered to do but they dont pester you and are friendly.
I would reccoment the resort to everyone.

I do not remember seeing any rubbish anywhere, perfectly clean. The beach was fantastic although I have to admit due to the wind we did not venture further than our feet would allow into the sea as it was freezing. The rep assured us the sea temperature was at 24 degrees but it did not feel like it which was a shame as we are both snorklers and would have loved to have gone further. There is not doubt that we would visit this resort again, although I doubt we would do January, again due to the wind.
Also, the one thing I have not mentioned is that we choose Nabq bay as it sounded quieter than Naama Bay - there was another main advantage, with Naame Bay you are closer to the airport - in fact one hotel we looked at seemed to be on the airport! Where as Nabq bay is still on the flight path but not really a problem 20-30 mins away from airport.
Please enjoy!

naqi bay would benefit a good build up of shops etc. as it is we had to get taxi's to namma bay which is more lively, where the hotel is situated is well away from any where. We ate at tgi fridays and this was also disappointing but i think that this was down to the waiter serving us because all six meals were cold when they arrived the only thing really was the onion rings that we ordered to nible whilst we waited for our meals. hard rock cafe is much better.

Sharks bay offers a great beach with a well kept promenade linking all the hotels. great snorkeling off the pontoons and plenty of dive schools available. Not much nightlife though but Naama bay is not too far away.

Naama bay nearby great. Try Camel bar food - superb. Hard Rock cafe -great and if your feeling brave try the Egyptian restaurant above the hard rock cafe as it is fab.

It's Egypt, fascinating but basic. Sharm is very much a resort and anything you want to visit is a trek, but very much worth it once you get there. If you want to see stuff in Egypt, you are better off in Luxor.

Sharm centre is a bustling town of old and new Egypt. A few chinese restaurants, Indian Italian etc, but if you want some traditional Egyptian, the La Masrien, close to the market exit is a must. All the staff speak English and the food was incredible. The pair of us ordered too much and it cost about £12 inc drinks!
Terrazina beach also, Friday is beach party with funky house until 1am. You can also do all manner of sporty things but not my bag.
The market is pure hassle though but you tend to toughen up a bit after a few trips round. Trouble is the traders are so nice so its hard to be insistant at first but unless you want to spend your evening browsing around one of the numerous shops full of crap you'll quickly learn to politely refuse/ ignore their well meant anvances.
