The resort wasnt in full swing but we where made very welcome in the bars and restaurants we went in, everyone very friendly indeed.
Hired the quad bikes down the road and had a blast.
If you are looking for a young lively holiday this wont be for you, I would recommend this for couples wanting to chill out.

St george is a lovely little resort with so many tavernas and bars that it is difficult to pick where to go. The people are extremely friendly & make you feel so welcome!! You feel totally safe walking around the streets, even late at night!
There's always different things going on in the bars, for example kareoke & quiz nights. One of the best nights we had was watching a live hypnotist in one of the bars - absolutly hysterical!! There is a large amount of english tourists so any football games are shown in a lot of the bars, this didnt bother me or my partner as the atmosphere was always very friendly!
We didnt actually go to the beach itself as our hotel pool was so lovely, but I did see it & it looked very clean.

The resort is long stretch of glorious sandy beaches with a range of water sports available. Plenty of sunbeds and parasols to hire and fresh melon and doughnuts sold from hand held baskets throughout the day. The beach was very clean and the sea clear and warm.
The beach is backed by a variety of bars and restaurants where you can sit and watch the sunset over the sea...lovely! The boat trips on offer are not to be missed, especially Costas boat trip to the Blue Lagoon, where you can jump off the boat and swim in the clearest blue sea you have ever seen! The trip also includes a lunch stop at the Greek mainland in the most delightful port ever, pretty, full of very expensive yachts and young Rich Greek teenagers enjoying their summer on board Daddy's yacht!!

long sandy beach very safe bathing ideal for anyone its a great place to just relax good food and Spiro on the Beach best food in resort really the best just real greek and full of locals so that tells you something in all great place to stay not at all tacky

we stayed at st george for 2wk in july.Although the resort is quiet and more laid back there was plenty to keep you occupied both day and evening.
many excellent restaraunts,good food,great value for your euro.
beaches north and south are two of the most cleanest beaches i've seen in a long time.the people of st george take pride in their resort.many activities going on on the beach,pedalo,jet ski,fly fish to name a few.
this is the second visit to the resort and i would highly recommend it.

Agios Georgios north is a delightful place to stay for persons like me who enjoy quiet mentally relaxing holidays and beautiful scenery. If you add in friendly local people who remember you from year to year, sufficient tavernas and restaurants serving a variety of food to suit most tastes then you soon feel very welcome and at ease. No clubs though so some teenagers might be bored.
All round is beautiful countryside with valleys and hills covered in shady olive groves ideal for walkers.

The resort of St. Goerge South has a little of everything, to suit all ages and all tastes. The restaraunts offer excellent value. I reccommend the Balcony which offers a good selection Greek food, it also offers the usual. Makis is a fresh fish restaraunt which offers a great selection. I reccommend the sword fish.
