Ipsos is a very friendly resort, good for a quiet holiday but with lots of bars and restaurants if you want them. The beach we always found clean and tidy, also the streets and shops. The shop, bar and restaurant owners were very friendly and we made a lot of friends there.

Ipsos is a very quiet resort during the day but has some good points in the evening with all of the pubs opening around 9pm until early hours. as we are not as young as some of the people holidaying here we still managed to enjoy ourselves having found the Queen Victoria run by Ian and Rita with Ian being a Jack of all trades down to his excellent homemade meals and Rita being the ever delightful landlady spent two weeks here and spent most nights at the Queen Vic doing Karaoke, Quiz night and many many cocktails

Ipsos is a lovely resort, the people are very warm and friendly, there are 3 night clubs. Ipsos is split in two with one half lively the other half quiet. The lively half is were the clubs and taxi rank is, at either end of Ipsos there is a village at one end Annalipsi beautiful but quiet, the other end is Pirgi which is not very pretty but is a lot more lively.
Annalipsi has 2 swimming pools that can be used by anyone,
Pirgi has 5 swimming pools that can be used by anyone.
The resort of Ipsos has grown quiet over recent years especially since the introduction of the euro; Corfu in general has gone expensive but is still value for money.
The beach at Ipsos is shingle and that is all you can say about it.
If you hire a car do not hire one through your rep you will get fleeced, look around and you will be able to hire one for half the price, when you do hire a car I recommend you take out separate insurance for the tyres which is only a couple of euros but could save you a lot of money in the long run as tyres and the underside of the car are not insured.
The airport at Corfu when going back home is a bit of a nightmare usually with long queues and normally 3 or 4 queues all for the same check in desk, once you are in a queue stay put the other line may seem to be moving faster but usually it is not and you will lose your place and have to start all over again.
