The accommodation was really good and clean. The pool was the best one around and the bar staff were really friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. They served nice food too. The location is ideal as it is just off the main strip so not too much noise but easy to get to it. The bar has its own entertainment which is fairly good too.
I would definitely go back to Laggon, planning it in fact for next year

We have just got back from a week in the Lagoon Studios, Sidari, Corfu and were very impressed.
We have tried several of the Spanish Islands but the Greek Isles have them beaten every time in our opinion.
The Lagoon Studios are a small complex on 2 floors and after visiting several much larger complexes in the past are all the better for it.
Our apartment was fairly basic in the usual style of Greek holidays. We had one bedroom with twin beds and our teenage son had to make do with a camp bed at the foot of our beds. The beds also doubled as the sitting area.
A kitchen with a table, 2 chairs and the usual basic cooking equipment.
The bathroom had a bath with shower over, toilet and sink. The bathroom was really a wet room as it had no shower curtain but any water that fell on the floor soon dried out as it was so hot.
They complex does have larger apartments for bigger parties.
The rooms do not have any air conditioning but their are a limited amount of fans available at reception for about 3 Euros a day. Unfortunately when we were there we managed to hire a fan but because of the mosquitos at night we couldn't open up any of the windows so the fan only moved around the hot air.
It was in the 90s when we went but the temperature was bearable during the day but at night . . .
That really was the only down side to the accommodation.
The pool was clean and although initially cold when first entering was very refreshing in the midday sun.
The bar has a good range of drinks, ice creams and meals. Karaoke, bingo and quizs feature in the bar area each night. The bar staff couldn't be more friendly or accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble.
Reception is open from about 10 until 2 and then 5.30 until about 9.30. The young receptionist from Athens is very helpful. Free safety deposit boxes are also in the reception area.
Go to the Lagoon Studios expecting reasonably basic accommodation which is fairly comfortable and clean and you will have an enjoyable holiday.
Also try the Roof Garden Restaurant in the Sidari main restaurant area.
But I hope you are able to have a better night's sleep than we managed.

Can I first start off by saying that I have been going to the Lagoon for 10 years now. My first time was in 1995 when Sidari was very quite with just a handful of shops. Over the years I have seen it take shape to a thriving resort. I have stayed at the Lagoon every time.
I have got to know the owner (Spiro's) and the staff (Alex,Maria,Denis) very well. I can honestly say that over this time I have never found any problem what so ever with the lagoon. Last year they had air conditioning, televisions and hair dryers put in ever room. The TV's have basic English programs on and is free and the hair dryers are free too. The air conditioning is charged at about 5 euros a day. I have over there different times of the season and the quality never changes. If you have a big family or if you are a couple and you like it enough to go the following year you can ask Spiro's if you can rent one of his spare rooms. He has a large and a small spare room. It works out quite a lot cheaper if you do it that way.
I hope this has been some help to anybody going there or thinking about booking there
