Do not go to the Greek night at Oasis.. Not re-commended. Hotel is slightly out of town so if you can hire a car.

Do not miss the BBQ starter, main and desert absolutely delicious.
Salt & Pepper at the end of the road is excellent for food. Although most of the restaurants are good.
Highly recommend English breakfast at Jimmys as that kept us going most of the day.

All rooms are clean and tidy. Food is great and breakfast is either full English with cereal and fruit juice, Greek breakfast or just toast and coffee. The swimming pool is large and spotless with plenty of sunbeds. Location is close to everything you need in Sidari.

We went on several coach trips, always cheaper to book with the agents in Sidari rather than your holiday company. Horse riding, Corfu Town by evening and Aqualand are a must!!
George's Orchard restaurant, Sweet Apple and The Pigs are all great places to eat and Jeni's cafe is a must for afternoon coffee and cake to die for!!!
The beach was clean though fairly busy in August but if it's water sports you want Sidari beach is thebeach for you!

Sidari is an excellent destination for young people, couples and familys with lots to do for all ages. Plenty of bars, clubs & restaurants. The beach is really clean with a gently slop in the surf so its not too deep for children.

the resort itself is brilliant the beach is very clean there are plenty of watersports you can also walk all along the beach to the many bars and restaurants there are plenty of shops for all your souvenirs and there are plenty of trips to go on for days out if i can get over my fear of flying we are all going back again.

I couldn't believe the changes I found in Sidari, OK it was quite a while since I'd been (15 years) but this seemed the perfect example of how to ruin a lovely resort, a thought shared by many locals.
Sidari, with its canal of love, has turned into a neon light, brash and British resort. If you can't holiday without your weekly fix of a greasy fry up in the morning, fish and chips for dinner and donner kebab to finish the night off then you've found home. Personally I don't go on holiday to eat what I can at home, I enjoy savouring traditional local cooking but in the main town this is hard to find. Start to walk 10 mins out of town and the offerings are much better but certainly didn't reflect the menu's we were enticed with in Kos.
The main beach suffers from the volume of people, and its quite noticeable how dirty us British are, someone else will clean up the mess! Thankfully there are some nice picturesque coves worth exploring although the size of the beach is quite limited.
Prices were far higher than I expected, and higher than I pay in London which IMO is daylight robbery. The norm for a pint seemed to be about £3 upwards but its possible to find cheaper, meals were about £7.50 upwards. I was told that 3 families own 90% of the bars here and therefore they have a cartel. How true that is I can't say but it certainly reflects the prices which seem very similar throughout this resort. In one supermarket out of town we were asked nearly £3 for a can of drink, needless to say it went straight back on the shelf.
Its fair to say for some this kind of resort is what they are looking for, with familiar food, music bars, and a safe beach. It offers entertainment that suits a variety of ages, with magic shows, tributes, karaoke, disco and theme bars plus a smittering of greek dancing. Some of the restaurants out of the strip that have been mentioned above do live up to expectations. Some of the shows are great, some of the bars have great outlooks, there's plenty of offers of excursions and its not all noise til the early hours - infact there's obvious restrictions on this. However, it would be nice to see some of the money going back into the amenities, pederstrainise the main drag, better pavements and street lights out of town.
Unfortunately, for us, the romance is over with Sidari and with the current economic climate I'd say things will have to change if its to retain the volume of visitors it experiences.

Sidari is like Blackpool with sun!! And that isn't a complaint. There is loads to do, for all ages. Loads of bars (most of which are family friendly), restaurants of all types, little tavernas, loads of souvenir shops etc. Its great!
There are quite a few excursion agencies dotted around and if u want a trip out, I would recommend using one of these as they are much cheaper than booking with your rep.
There is a doctors surgery, and a chemist, should you need them. Two decent supermarkets....and the booze is VERY reasonable.

Sidari is a beautiful resort with one end all bars and restaurants and the other more traditional tavernas, you could stay for a month and still not eat in the same place twice, beaches are clean and plenty of them, fantastic.

SIDARI: Really liked it. Locals very welcoming. There are a few British style pubs offering a schedule of British TV and typical English food but also a lot of Greek so you don't feel like you're still in Britain! On one side of the strip all the bars and restaurants back onto the beach which makes a lovely setting. There are lots of boat & coach trips you can take (east coast, Corfu Town, Albania...). Car hire available everywhere. Take a taxi to Sunset Beach for 8 euros and see the famous sunset!
