Do not go to the Greek night at Oasis.. Not re-commended. Hotel is slightly out of town so if you can hire a car.

Do not miss the BBQ starter, main and desert absolutely delicious.
Salt & Pepper at the end of the road is excellent for food. Although most of the restaurants are good.
Highly recommend English breakfast at Jimmys as that kept us going most of the day.

All rooms are clean and tidy. Food is great and breakfast is either full English with cereal and fruit juice, Greek breakfast or just toast and coffee. The swimming pool is large and spotless with plenty of sunbeds. Location is close to everything you need in Sidari.

We enjoy going to Sidari, this was our 5th trip. We have done many day trips to other resorts in Corfu but love Sidari. The people are so friendly and we feel comfortable, safe and relaxed whilst there. The restaurants we have visited are lovely, some better than others but its like that anywhere. We have made quite a few friends who we have contact numbers for and keep in touch. One day I would love to move out there to live, probably on the outskirts of the resort.

Having been to Greece several times in the past, i can say that nothing surprises me anymore. There are no pavements, but most places tourists visit are villages and in england you would walk on windy roads there. I read a nother review where someone said Sidari was dirty, I never saw that side of it. There are ample touristy shops and numerous bar, restaurants. Some of these are right on the beech front. Sidari is the best resort i have been to

the resort is clean and tidy. There are quite alot of entertainment going on most of quiz and karoke.
The beach is clean, as the same on most beaches sun bed 2.50euro umbrellas 1.00euro. There is car hire price we found was 160euro for 11 days no hidden charges. Quads was expesnsive.
All hotels and other appartments always welcomed you even if you was not staying there.

I dont eat at any of the large commercial restaurants along the strip, i try to find tradional tavernas to eat in of an evening. Try the local food, its better than english food.
I go with my son, so therefore do not go the clubs etc, but have heard they are good

The centre of Sidari is very busy itself, however it is great for walking down to look in the shops, cafe's and bars in which you are spoilt for choice. Jeni's cafe located on the main street near the three pigs provides some delicious sweet and savoury snacks and access to internet, including wi-fi! The olympus bar just down the way form Jeni's open in the evening is great for some live entertainment and cocktails! There is a great atmosphere and one thing you notice returning every year is that the resort is suitable for all. There are lots of things to do for from families to young couples! The beaches located near the Canal'd'Amour are definatly worth visiting, very relaxing and beautiful views.

The resort is nice although it is worth hiring a car to travel around as other than the beach and clubs there is not much to do during the day,

Sidari itself is quite commercialised and offers something for all ages and palates. There are the usual guys trying to get you into restaurants but they weren't too pushy. May is fairly quiet, I wouldn't go in the height of season when it is bustling. If you like a pre-dinner drink pop into the Premier Bar and see Sam, nice guy.
We ate in a number of restaurants, the best were ;
* Astoria, situated behind the Premier Bar it offers good Greek cuisine, the Fried Aubergines were the best we have had for years. All the food is well cooked and tasty. They speak good English so just ask if you fancy something you dont see on the menu. Also decide if the waiter is more like Richard Gere or Kevin Costner, he is a great guy.
* El Greco. on the seafront off to the right of the centre. Great location with good food.
* Elysee, again, along the beach front just to the right of the centre, good food, friendly staff
* Pancho Villa, upstairs in the centre. If you like Tex Mex you'll love this place. generous portion of excellent quality food.
Overall the big negative is the lack of paths outside the centre. The local drivers speed and the walk into Sidari didn'y seem particulary safe, you would need to be extra careful with kids.
