Do not go to the Greek night at Oasis.. Not re-commended. Hotel is slightly out of town so if you can hire a car.

All rooms are clean and tidy. Food is great and breakfast is either full English with cereal and fruit juice, Greek breakfast or just toast and coffee. The swimming pool is large and spotless with plenty of sunbeds. Location is close to everything you need in Sidari.

5 minute walk from Sidari Village Hotel are gokarts and trampolines, on the beach there's The Yellow Boat Company - great to hire a boat for 2 hours - we went up to San Stefanos - beautiful. Got the local 'green' bus into Kaseopi (beutiful fishing village) and also to Acharavi and Roda - worth a look. Sidari has something for 'everyone' and I would definitely recomend it and the Sidari Village Hotel

Sidari - something for everyone. There are some fantastic restaurants (Kavvaddias and Olympic) and bars (Bolero, Maddisons, SOS) to name but a few. It is a great little resort, no hesitation in recommending it.

The beach immediately in front of the Orestis is narrow and not fantastic but apart from a walk along it, we preferred to stay at our pool, which was lovely! Would definately visit this resort again as it had something for everyone.

Sidari is lovely, with beautful views and some nice beaches. There is lots to see and do in the town and many shows on every night. I would definetly visit sidari again.

Sidari is a lovely place to stay in. It has something for everyone. A lively end for party people and a quieter more relaxed end for those who just want to go out in the evenings and enjoy and meal and a few drinks.
If I was to make some negative comments about Sidari it would be that there is a slight distict swerage smell in parts of the canel d'amour area but you only notice this when you are walking around. And I wasn't overly impressed with the beach but as I am not a beach person this didn't bother me in the slightest.
I would be happy to recommend Sidari to anyone.

Sidari was a bit of a disappointment. It looked run-down, there is no pavement until you get right to the centre and it is full of bars and clubs offering all day english breakfasts and shops selling tacky souvenirs. Not very greek!
The main beach is narrow and full of seaweed, the beach at Canal d'Amour was much better, but also much busier!
We found three restaurants which were real gems: The Family (Just past 3 Little pigs) which do excellent lamb and chicken on the spit, The Village (In Peroulades)which serve real greek food at good prices, and Pizza Romana (Behind the church in the centre of Sidari) which do really great greek and italian food. Home-baked bread and excellent pasta dishes.
If you're after a traditional greek snack, there's a pastry shop opposite the closed-down McDonalds which do home-made spinach pie, feta pie and sweets such as baklava. We went there several times, the food is delicious and the lady was very kind and let us try some cakes for free!
If you go into Peroulades you'll also find a brilliant olive wood gift shop (It's the one with the pet rabbit inside!) the gifts in there were all really well priced and the girl who works there will put everything into little gift bags at no extra cost.
For excursions we used Vlaseros travel, prices weren't the cheapest, but they were much cheaper than what the tour operators were offering and they had their own brand new air-conditioned red coaches.

Sidari caters for all ages whether you are simply looking for a good selection of restaurants and bars, or for somewhere to party, there is a great selection of bars and nightclubs. Either way, they are spaced out well enough so that you can enjoy either. Damias is about a 20 minute walk into the main part of Sidari but I personally found this no problem at all - it actually helps to walk off the huge meals that you eat!! or you can simply get a taxi for about 6 euros. I can't really comment on the beaches as we spent all our time around the pool as this was so lovely. The pool at Damias is at the back of the hotel, unlike the rest of the hotels where it is at the front so all traffic and passers by can see, therefore the privacy at Damias was perfect. We will definately be going back...
