Location
The hotel was very clean, lovely rooms, but lacked atmosphere, and they really could lose those singing rocks! Tacky. Mossies are a problem, but I experienced worse in Halkidiki. Sampled one of the hotel breakfasts - very average, limited selection of cereals and fruit, and we had to request water, a weakish orange drink being the only cold drink on offer.
First Choice were excellent to travel with, but the reps at the hotel really left something to be desired. Immature, unhelpful, and what someone aptly described as 'failed 18 - 30 reps'. Walked past the entertainment a couple of nights, put it this way, I wouldn't have stayed.
Hotel staff were on the whole pleasant enough. This was entirely spoilt on the last day by their unhelpful attitude when we requested a porter to carry our suitcase. Even when we explained that my husband had strained a muscle and was finding it difficult to carry the suitcase down, they refused.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. Our standing joke: Why is it called Blue Bay Escape? Because once you get there you really do just want to escape!

Hotel location is isolated but picturesque with beautiful views of Albania. Weather was not good when I visited and the entertainment the hotel put on consisted of home grown bingo and karaoke whilst braving the winds and rain down by the pool bar.
Had to line up in the rain for lunch as that was also served by the pool in the wind and rain! Wasps disappeared when the bad weather set in. Staff were surly and unfriendly. All inclusive drinks were poor. Food bland.
Would definitely not come here again.

Staff round the pool bar not as friendly as the bar in reception.
Entertainment in the evenings not very good, but the reps did a marvelous job during the day keeping the kids entertained.
Did get rather noisy during the day with the music, it was so loud it put you off reading.

The hotel is very clean and the service is excellent.
The rooms are very spacious for a family of 5. The rooms are cleaned everyday with fresh towels and bedding if required.
Although the hotel is a little isolated there are plenty of activities provided. (A great big thank you to Kelly Who taught my 5 year old to swim with swim kids!)
There is a good choice of food during the day. The chef is an excellent cook. A range of different food is available Greek, Chinese, Indian and roast dinners with Beef,Lamb,porketc...
The childrens pool is a lovely size. But you are warned at the beginning of your holiday that the pool edges are rough. Causing sore fingers and maybe bruised tummies. The children are told to use steps when using the pool. But there are no steps in the childrens pool!
The entertainment is done by First Choice entertainment team. They all work extremely hard. But I think the hotel could get more outside entertaiment to liven up the place in the evening. Eg Magicians. Acrobats, dancers etc...

The resort is kept spotless. All the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The maids deserve a medal.
Although the hotel is a bit isolated it is perfect for a quiet holiday. It is like a tiny village where you seem to get to know everyone. We met so many lovely people young and old.
Hello to you (especially the drunken Madonna and Neil from Scunthorpe) all!!!!
Honestly can

The food was varies throughout the time we stayed there if you not that adventurous then you could always go to kiddies corner(which consists of chicken nuggets, fish fingers and chips which gets boring though).snacks from the pool side bar are exellent and vary from kebabs, pizzas, toasties, burgers, hot dogs and ice cream the lady at the snack bar was a great laugh dancing and singing to music, she was also very polite.
There are lots of cats living in and around the resort who are very playfull and one got stuck in the pool table (hahhahahhaha).
The hotel staff are friendly and polite and they do smile now and again especially the lady at the snack bar!.the receptionists are quite polite and the waiters in the restruant need to be a bit happier and politer but apart from them everybody is polite.
The entertainment team are great especially CLAIRE who is very out-spoken but NOT rude in the slightest!!.The others are a good laugh aswell including: Gemma,Michael, denise and sarah jane(who done a runner in case any one was wondering where shes gone, she was on our plane and over-heard that she done a runner!!!).
Theres bingo every night at about 9.00pm(which my mum lived for)also they do some specials like grease (exellent)and other things.
All in all a fabulous hotel with fabulous entertainment and good food(although it gets boring over two weeks). The only thing that puts it down is the location .Its the backend of no where its boring outside of the hotel apart from hydropolis a good water park!.

On arrival the luggage is taken to your room for you..(fab!! especially when you arrive with 2 sleeping kids). The rooms are basic but clean.Towels are changed daily if you put your dirty ones in the bath.
This was our first time all-inclusive and it was worth every penny. The kids got to help themselves all day long to juice, ice-cream, toasties, pizza's, hot-dogs and burgers..(heaven)The evening menu for children I've heard people say was a bit repative..Mine love chicken nuggets and fish fingers so no complaints from them..The adults menu was really good.. varied meals greek and british if you didn't like something you could leave it and try another. The desserts were supberb..I was having 3 most nites..
The pool is cleaned every morning but is freezing cold...2 small beaches next 2 hotel and a lovely little stoney cove..
Kids club was great..Kids loved it..(we loved it even more)
Make sure you don't leave the Mossie repelent at home..made the mistake of not applying 1 nite and got eaten alive. They really dont like the Autan though and we used tea tree shampoo they hate that 2.
The only thing ladies if you think your gonna get any shopping it's not that great..came home with loads of spending money.if your like me and like a bit of duty free..buy it at the airport before you go.The airport in Corfu is tiny and you'll have a job finding a seat never mind a bargain..
All in all fantastic holiday great value for money fantastic weather.I'm quite a fussy person so 2 get such a good review from me was no mean feat..
Book it....

The food was nice. There was'nt alot of english food so if your not a fan of foreign food theres always kiddies corner where everything is english and theres bound to be at leat one thing you like here. The chef was always really cheerfull but the waiters could have been abit happier and actually looked like they were enjoying thier jobs.
The hotel location is very secluded. As you walk out there are only two shops which sell mainly beachwear and blowup lilos. So if your self-catering you might want to upgrade to all inclusive as the nearest restaurent is nearly 5 miles away so id advise anyone who is self-catering to upgrade.
The hotel staff were all friendly especially the lady on the pool side snack bar. She was always really cheerfull and was singing and dancing along to the radio. She also speaks fluent english which is a bonus.
The entertainment was the best part of my holiday. I thought all the entertainers were brilliant especially clair and gemma. They always made a real effort to liven everyone up and always made us laugh.
They did a variety of things to entertain. There was bingo and mini disco for the little ones. Then they either done a show like grease and kareoke which was always a laugh.
By the way if you read this micheal i still think you look like brian from westlife and i think your little tribute to them with swear it again was really good.
Thanx alot to clair, micheal, gemma, denise and sarah-jane for making my holiday so enjoyable.
