First of all the hotel is very clean and ive never seen another hotel like it. The maids and all the cleaners work very hard all day to make sure the hotel is up to standard. The rooms are cleaned from top to bottom and are left sparkling.

The food is fabulous. There's different choices of food so if you dont like foreign food there will always be something English there that your bound to like. I personally enjoyed the evening meal most but all in all the food was excellent.

The location is wonderful. You've got great views of Albania and theres no traffic or noise so its the perfect place to go if you'd like to relax. Everywhere you go you can just sit down and unwind and nobody bothers you it really is excellent.

The hotel staff are the friendliest people you will ever meet. They always say hello and smile and generally make you feel welcome at all times. The lady on the snack bar is very nice and everyone gets on with her which is nice. Shes very down to earth.

As for the entertainment I'm sorry but I'm speechless at some peoples comments. How dare you say its diobolical. I mean you must have been on cloud cuckoo land to make a comment like that especially one thats so untrue. Michael, Gemma, Clair, Denise and Sarah-Jane all do their up most best to keep everyone happy and they're such nice people as well. I can't believe the cheek of some peoples comments. There's clair whos very outspoken but not in the slightest bit rude so HOW DARE PEOPLE CALL HER SERGENT MAJOR ITS TOTALLY UNTRUE. Then there's Gemma who I related to. We got on really well and shes such a nice girl I'd love to see her make it into something big. And Denise and Sarah-Jane are very good dancers and most of all very nice people.

At the end of the day a holiday is what you make it.

Im going back next year for 4 weeks as I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I really rate it so book up now and get over there and have a great time you wont regret it.

PS Best wishes and good luck to Spikey Mikey, Denise, Michael and Gemma I hope it all works out for you, you're such a friendly bunch of people and I'm really gonna miss you!

This was a last minute booking for just the two of us. The apartments are like small flats. Pretty basic but well equiped by Greek standards. The complex is nicely laid out in a location overlooking the sea. The pool area is clean and the pool bar and food servery are very nice.

The food is generally very good, breakfast and dinner in the restaurant, lunch at the pool area. You can eat as much as you like if you want too three times a day, multiply that by 7/14 days and bang goes the waist line The waiting staff are extremely friendly and courtious, not to mention hardworking.

This accomodation is aimed at people with young chidren (All the kids I saw were having a great time.) however couples of all ages can enjoy it also.

Thehotel is a bit in the middle of nowhere. There are a couple of bars at the beach but the nightlife outside is on the quiet side. Head for Kassiopi for a night out on the free bus, but you have to book.

The hotel shouldn't offer self catering as there is no where to go out to eat at night apart from two tavernas that were rather poor as one night a bird fell out of its nest and died on the floor! The hotel is kept really clean around the pool areas and the rooms. The staff need a bit of cheering up as they never smile to anyone. The location is good if you want a quiet family holiday like we did but the location is rubbish when you are self catering.
The entertainment was average on the first week of our stay but on the second week it was very poor. The entertainers put in a lot of effort but it is still very poor.
The holiday overall was OK.

We stayed all inclusive ,which was well worth it.could have been more of a choice of snacks in the evening though. The hotel was kept very clean. They even had to close the pool one pm as a child had had an 'accident' in it.
Couldnt fault the food at all,put on lb's.Location was remote, but beautiful,we had a view of albania from our balcony.Very relaxing and lovely beaches.Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke good English. Our waiting staff made a fuss of our 5 year old, Charlotte at dinner time. Could have been more snacks in the evening.
There was bit of a problem with sunloungers and parasols, but there is no room for more.We used the lovely beaches instead some of the time.
The kids club was good .Spikey Mikey has a big impact on the kids ,they all loved him. Thanks to Kelly at swim kids for teaching Charlotte to swim despite her whinging.
Entertainment in evening not great , but most of the time they tried hard and we still enjoyed ourselves,The second week was much better Greek dancers were fun. and the Grease show was good.
A gym is advertised but was not good!no air con and not much equipment. what there was wasnt good either unless you like weights.Didnt see any giant ludo or snakes and ladders, as in brochure.

We would go back again, all in all a relaxing enjoyable holiday, we didnt want to come home!!!

We all had a wonderful holiday at the Blue Bay Escape, and would thoroughly recommend it to any family with children. The rooms were huge and very clean and the view from our balcony was breathtaking. All the hotel staff were friendly, helpful and worked incredibly hard. The food was delicious and catered for all tastes, we all put on a few pounds though!. The pool was great although, as most of the reviews state, if we wanted a sunbed we had to be up at 6am. I think this is due to it being height of season, but made no difference to us as we prefer the beach anyway. What a lovely couple of beaches they are too, we went to the larger one and spent many happy hours building sandcastles and jumping over waves, it was blissful.

Our children went to the Kids Club and loved Spikey Mikey, Super Shonny and Fluffy and all the other reps. Also the Reps Caberet Night in Roda on a Saturday night is well worth going to if you fancy a fun night out, let your hair down and enjoy yourself!!!! Our children had a ball too!!!They are a great bunch of people, so friendly.

The evening entertainment could be improved, Impulse do try but they just don't have the voices or the charisma to carry it off. You need a BIG personality duo for that venue. The ents. reps were ok, Michael, Gemma and Denise were great though and carried the others. They weren't that friendly and seemed at times anti children-strange at a family resort.

The mosquito's weren't pleasant but were kept under control by plenty of spray and citronella candles, we applied the spray as you would suntan lotion in the evening and it did the trick most of the time. It certainly wouldn't put me off going.

Our memories of this holiday are brilliant and we would definately go back.

This Hotel is first class. Very clean and tidy. The grounds are kept nice. The setting is breathtaking and is extra special if you have a sea view looking across to Albania.

The food is of a high quality and is changed on a regular basis, you are never left wanting.

You are a captured crowd as there isn't places within easy reach of the hotel but having stated this a hotel mini bus makes regular visits to both villages either side of the resort.

Most of the hotel staff are very pleasant, those that aren't are probably fed up with the loutish English teenagers that unfortunately are not kept in order by their parents, but this could be down to lack of facilities for them, I'm afraid that's the Brits abroad.

Entertainment very very poor. First Choice do try but personally it was very embarassing and the end couldn't come sooner. Day time games for the kids was adequate and kept them amused.

Would I visit this hotel again? Yes but in about 5 years time when I'm sure the resort would have expanded.

Had a fantastic holiday, your holiday here can be as relaxing or as busy as you wish.

The hotel is in a lovely spot with fantastic views, the food is delicious and plenty of it, the pool is clean and well maintained.

Hotel staff are efficient and friendly and the complex is kept clean and tidy.

The Beaches close to the hotel are small, but clean with shallow water.

Book any trips from Tanyal Travel next to the complex - can recommend the evening cruise to Corfu Town.

Entertainment is limited but you don't have to join in!

The Entertainment Staff worked very hard. The kids made lots of friends and never got bored. There are a few hidden extras - some of the kid's club entertainment was charged for and if you like pool remember to take plenty of 2 euro coins!

Respect the request for long trousers at dinner - the hotel is only trying to keep standards high - and gentlemen it is not necessary to wear football shirts to dinner or hang England Flags from your balconies.

Remember to respect the fact that we are in another country, the people are friendly and helpful.

This is a lovely location and we would not hesitate to re-visit.

The blue bay is great. We had lots of fun.

We were all inclusive so it was easy to get food and drink. The food was delicious and because we were all inclusive we were able 2 get up and get food at any time (I think we all put a bit of weight on by the end of the holiday).

We could get drinks any time we wanted and didn't have to worry about paying so that

We initially went self catering but within 24 hours we upgraded to all inclusive which worked out expensive as my three kids were all teenagers. The reason for this is that is there are only two small shops within walking distance which has a tiny selection of food and mostly sells beachwear.

Everyone we met who upgraded to all inclusive immediately once they saw the shopping facilities. This is defininatly not a self catering holiday. There are two restaurants close by which are costly and and only worth one visit.

When swimming in the pool watch your ears there was spate of ear infections while we there, if this does happen don`t see the doctor, just go into the town pay 3 euros for drops it`s cheaper than seeing the doctor.

The place it`s self was fantastic and clean, it has fantastic views and scenery.

I would recommend a visit if you go all inclusive and you can entertain yourself in the evening.

When we arrived, we were greeted from the hotel with an upgrade from self catering to all inclusive.

If your children are under 12, book at the resort as the children are free!.

The hotel is 'very British' themed on 'James Bond' you do not get a feel for the Greek hospitality and the beautiful island.

The nearest restaurants are not local(10 minutes in the free bus)hence self catering options are poor with only a couple of average tavernas near the hotel, the local shop is good.

The fight for the sunbeds begins before daybreak and is unexceptable, if you want a sunbed you must be early!

However the pool is of excellant quality when in use, during our visit the pool closed 3 times due to hygiene issues! Parents should take more responsibility.

The food is very good, catering well for people with food intolerences

The accommadation is spacious and is excellent for a family of 5.

To conclude the resort with be a better place in five years time when more ammenities develop around the impressive hotel.
