Went to the blue bay expecting the worst after what we had read! We went self catering but would definately upgrade next time as the food looked lovely!
The hotel room was absolutely excellent, it was cleaned to a high spec every morning and the maid was lovely, she always had a smile on her face.
The location was beautiful, especially the beach nearby, definately worth a visit, just be aware of the grumpy old man at he far end of the beach where the wire fence is as he doesn't like small children using their nets! A usual phrase was get off my work!!!! It might help if there were signs in english stating that entry was not permitted.hotel staff were brilliant at all times. Didn't think much to the entertainment though, inpulse especially. The guy was ok but the female singer could maybe benefit from some singing lessons!
Will definately be visiting again. Only been back a day and already missing the bbe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE BLUE BAY ESCAPE UNCOVERED!

We had a lovely time here at the Blue Bay Escape! The rooms were very spacious and really clean. Although we went self catering the food looked vey appatising. The hotel location was a bit out in the open so there wasn't much appart from the lovely beach. The lovely blue sea and the golden sand. There are pedaloes which are very enjoyable and they are very good for value.Although ii would watch out for your children that like fishing as at the very end of the beach their is a very GRUMPY man that tells you to "GET OF MY WORK!" The hotel staff were very pleasant and were willing to sort out any problems. The entertainment was bad! and that was down to IMPULSE! There were many many coments in the feedback book about them but yet they are still their smashing the windows with their appauling vocals.
Overall though we had a great time and would recommend to friends.
ps. WATCH OUT FOR THE MOSQUITOES ON A NIGHT!

A bit concerned before we went re comments on this page.Last years problems appear to have been solved the pool area is now all paved so there is no mud.location is stunning food excellent lots of choice, staff brilliant and friendly room spacious. There is a courtesy bus to Acharavi and Kassiopi were there was a wide choice of retuarants and bars so you are not that isolated really. We only stayed a week which was enough. The entertainment was diabolical although I do feel the reps worked hard at the 'Shows' they put on.the due Impulse were awfull and boring.I will say watch your children as there were a few accidents,I don't believe safety standards were poor just children being children. There is decking at the entrance to the dinning area which definately must go it is a hazzard both my grandaughter and myself tripped as it is loose.overall it is a great place as it is only the 2nd season it's all new.the journey to the resort is a bit scarey on the coast road there is a sheer drop I was terrified.Aqualand is worth a visit but at least 1.1/2 hrs away.

This hotel was beautiful. I read reviews on this hotel before going on hol on the beginning of May 04, and really dreaded going out as the reviews were awful, However I was pleasantly surprised by the standard of the hotel. I had real concerns about my wee girl regarding the reviews of the swimming pool (she likes to live in the pool). However again the pool was excellent.

Corfu is a beautiful island and I was pleased that we had hired a car as we had the opportunity to enjoy traditional greek culture touring around the island. we found lots of beautiful beaches and lovely wee family run greek tavernas.
The taverna a short distance from blue escape is to be recommended!I would definately go back to corfu and to blue escape.

I cannot comment on the food at the hotel as we never ate in the hotel but the apartments were lovely and the shop on site had all you really required.
I found the hotel to be clean, although the location was a bit out of the way and was so pleased that we had the car. the entertainment was a bit chronic but everybody appeared to enjoy themselves and after a few drinks I was up doing the cha cha slide with the kids!!! slide to the left.... whey hey!

I really enjoyed my holiday and would return. I certainly have memories that I will never forget and lovely photos to look back on.

The complex was immaculate and had a 'new feel'to it,the apartments were very spacious and we had amazing views from our balcony. The maids were marvellous and really worked hard, rooms were cleaned daily and towels changed. The dining area was also very clean and there was a good choice of greek dishes,i didn't think much of breakfast but would definetly recommend going all inclusive. I found all the staff to be very friendly esspecially the waiters who went out of their way for you. The pool area was also very spacious and had georgeous views of Albania, the only downside was having to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve your sunbed and parasol(not enough to go round). I think we may have gone the wrong time of year(start of the season)as the entertainment was non-existant,they did have a resident band every night who were very good but a change would have been nice. A big problem were the mozzies, hundreds of them, none of the repellants we brought worked and my partner was bitten all over, everyone sat inside because of it which was a shame as the outside area was far better. We tried to book for next year but was shocked at the prices, it really has gone up so we've chose Halkidiki next year and again booked AI as we find it really is good value.

Blue Bay was and probably will always remind us of a old fashioned holiday camp.

If you want to see the real Corfu don't go here, but cleanliness and facilities were excellent although disabled customers would find it a little hard going.

Staff were helpful and polite on site reps were always but didn't help or seem to want to help us with a small problem.

Ideal pleasent base for a seasoned Corfu traveller don't foget to hire a car.

I have just returned from 2 weeks in the Blue Bay Escape Hotel, or as someone else put it during our stay, 'The Blue Bay Hospital'. I have stayed at many all-inclusive resorts over a number of years and this is the worst by far. The whole experience was truly awful and am happy to expand on any points should you so wish.

Best all inclusive yet. Really clean food was good except for fighting the wasps for it. BBQ round pool everyday good drinks rooms up to date and spotless. Views brilliant.

Draw back in middle of nowhere but courtesy buses to two different spots. Dont book anything through hotel go to Tanyas travel near beach on left a lot cheaper!

Reps ok hotel entertainment staff are good such a laugh day and night will be going again soon
