Clean, good apartments. Lousy location, three miles from the gorgeous village of Kassiopi, which is the destination of the courtesy bus, (along with Acharavi).
The biggest issue is actually the courtesy bus itself. You can only leave the complex for two hours in the morning and/or two and a half in the evening, and it doesn't run at all on a Sunday. That means you are stuck there all day unless you hire a car.
All in all, you'd be better going to Kassiopi in the first place if you, like us, are self catering.

We went to this hotel on a late deal just to get a week in the sunshine and for that it served it's purpose.

The rooms are spacious and clean and fairly comfortable. We only had hot water at certain times of day so had to make sure we went back to our room at certain times of day to make sure we got a hot shower!

We went Self Catering, but ended up paying for all inclusive as there isn't really anywhere else to eat, so we didn't have much choice! The food was repetitive and pretty boring and not cooked very well. They say they do themed nights in the restaurants, but we didn't notice any difference in the food despite what night it was. Drinks were all inclusive, but wine and beer was served in plastic cups! Very Classy!

The location is pretty poor if you like to go out exploring, but is fine if you prefer to stay at the hotel. You can catch a bus into the town, but the last bus back is about 22:00 so don't expect a late night out!

The staff were ok, but didn't make much of attempt to understand us and weren't particularly helpful.

There was lots of entertainment at the hotel, but none of it very good! The entertainment for kids was quite good, but gor adults it was pretty bad! Although once you'd had a few glasses of the local wine it was slightly better!

The holiday served it's purpose for us as we wanted a cheap week in the sun which is what we got, but I wouldn't go back again. It's probably best suited to families with younger children.

We found the hotel to be spotlessly clean, rooms big and comfortable with great views. Stunning location but isolated - best for a week rather than two.

Staff were friendly and the First Choice lot were great, nice and helpful and a good laugh.

The food was fine - lunches were a bit limited as were snacks but no real issues.

Beware of the slippy floors and the decking someone slipped and injured herself quite badly.

The bar service in an evening inside (we had really bad weather), not enough bar staff to cope really.

Main complaint was rowdy kids running around everywhere - but that was the parents not the hotels fault.

Given that it rained nearly every day we had a great time and didn't travel around much so that says it all really.

we stayed at the blue bay holiday resort in ST Spyridon for one week on a all inclusive basis and can honestly say appart from the weather (which was very varible) we had a fantastic holiday,
The rooms were bright and spacious with both heating and air conditioning.
The location is abit secluded but runs a free bus service to both of the nearest town's.
The hotel staff are both hepful and friendly, and nothing is to much trouble for them.
The food in the restuarant has a different theme every night although lunch time is although adequate abit same same.
I would be happy to recommend this complex to anyone and am sure to return myself again one day.

The food and the hotel itself was fantastic!!!

We were all inclusive and enjoyed all the meals with no complaints at all. Michael the head chef went out of his way to be sure that you enjoyed the food, which varied every day, he even made a special dish for us when requested.

Rooms were really clean and spacious. Our son is 4 years old and really enjoyed the kids club, they did something everyday if not twice a day!

The hotel staff were really friendly and the local towns were nice, which the hotel provided regular buses to.

Very remote hotel and beautiful setting, family holiday to be recommended, the only negative was the bad mannored kids who ran riot, but this was more the parents who did not care and left their children to nearly trash the place.

Otherwise if you are thinking of going, do, you'll have a great time!!

We were among the first customers of the year and despite this and the awful weather had a good holiday. would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and would visit again later this year. The hotel is all british and some loutish behaviour let us down as per normal. Why cant some people accept that their kids are their responsibilty and not everyone elses, they are your kids look after them. One couple had 6 kids under about 6 and looked after them brilliantly - an example to you all who wanted to sit at the bar all day and let your kids wind everyone else up.

the blue bay resort st spyridon is a truly amazing place. The whole complex is immaculately clean and the staff very warm and welcoming. The food was very good and varied and there was a kids section so that the little ones can enjoy the usual things too. The appartments are very well laid out, and we were lucky enough to get one near the pool which rewarded us with a spectacular view of the albanian mountains. this is a fantastic place. the only thing which spoilt it slightly for us were the serial moaners who complained endlessly about anything and everything. A holiday is after all what you are willing to make it!

The accommodation was very good. We've always gone self-catering and found all accomm to be basic, but Blue Bays was by far the best accomm we have ever stayed in.
Our apartment was very close to the pool area and therefore we had beautiful views of the beach and Albania.

The staff were helpful and very friendly.
Shame about the weather we had a pretty bad week, only 2 days of sun!

The entertainment was poor but we did our own thing. It was good to go to neighbouring town Kassiopppi, and also just slip out the few local Tavernas around the Resort.

The Manager was very pleasant and went out of his way to talk to his guests and ensure that guests were enjoying themselves.

We would highly recommend it as a family holiday, and it's great if you want to lounge round the pool side all day.

We enjoyed it, and went on some lovely excursions and as someone else said, an holiday is what you make it, and in all we still had a good time sun or no sun!
