Resort is very quiet, traditionally Greek and beautiful.
I recommend that people actually take a walk outside the hotels to discover the lovely resort.
Some great shops, so bring your credit card.

Fairly quiet resort, very clean. Don`t forget your driving licence as there`s loads to see on Crete. Beach was clean but small and shingle, very uncomfortable underfoot!

there are a variety of bars and tavernas and shops in ierapetra itself and everyone is very friendly they use a flag system on the beach for swimming and some days you can't even paddle never mind swim
The resort was quite clean.
The resort entertainment was not so good but my daughter would advise you to go down to the beach and go on speed zone for 15 euros. The beach is stony but is much better than it looks in the picture. The sea is close to crystal blue.
There is a trip to Chrissy Island; I wouldn’t go to it if I were you, a lot of bad complaints that the seas weren’t crystal blue and no golden beaches.
We would love to visit this resort again!!!

Ierapetra, is a fairly small resort with bars and tavernas along the beach front. It is not like most other Greek Towns in that it doesn't have many hotels/villas, so there is the odd pressuring from the owners.
There is everything you need including banks, chemists, hire cars etc.
The beach is mostly shingle and can is very treacherous in places with underwater rocks, having said that it is clean
