Liberatos Village.... was promoted as an A class apartment but didn’t deserved the ranking.
No cleaning ( mop and broom are in the hallway), located on huge mountain (great view, but not suitable for seniors and kids unless your driving)
We were told not to place our baby on the grass near the pool but on the boiling concrete...otherwise the grass might get damaged.
it could have been a lot better but the owner is in a "private war" with the tour operators about the pricing so he is trying to get rid of them.
He is complaining to anyone who would listen about the dreadful contracts he had to sign and that is the reason he is not following up on his contracts.
The apartemts are only suitable for a close small family, dont try to stay in one apartment for two weeks with your family in law. it will end up in a divorce.
Some tips for the island:
-Kefalonia: beautiful, we will be back
-Lassi: best place to be with the best beaches of the island
-restaurant: Sirtaki restaurant in Lassi, gerat food with constant quality
-best beaches: Myrthos for day trip, Makris Gialos & Platos Gialos in Lassi
-Good alternatives: Hotel mediterinee and hotel White Rocks ( lot of stairs) both directly at great beaches
-Lixouri: Not the best part of the island to my opinion ( beaches are poor compared to Lassi)
-Skala area: alright but not exciting

Lassi is very long and not typical "picture postcard" Greece and, on the face of it a bit "Blackpoolish". However it has very good points. It is very central on the island which makes island exploration much easier. It is a stones throw from the capital Argostoli from where you can get a bus to most of the island if you do not want to drive. The beaches are sand and safe for kids although one or two do suffer from beach bar noise in the form of loud music (Mediterranea beach was quiet). Tavernas are on the whole very good and reasonably priced. Half decent chinese along the Fanari Road. Whilst there are several music bars there is no heavy "disco" scene. Argostoli has some (although we did not go). Argostoli also has more active night life especially at weekends (5 euros each way by taxi). Don't go on any organised tours, hire a car for 4/5 days and do it youreself. There is not much actual sightseeing to do but a trip round the principal resorts is interesting. Go to Ithica on one of the boat trips from Sami for 25 Euros and give the coach at 35 Euros a miss. However you will need one of your car hire days to get there and back.

Resort - Lassi - Entertainment a little scarce but it was early in the season. Had very good meals at 'Veronicas' - staff were courteous without being over powering. Visited other restaurants a long the main drag - sorry names a little difficult to spell. All provided equally good menus and standard of service. The beach was excellent, water was very clean. Long beach supplied usual water sports. Would definately return to this Island. Be ware if you don't want to drive the local buses don't start running until the end of May. Fair few supermarkets but check prices as they vary considerably.

Resort more suitable for couples and older people, not the resort for gangs of youngsters - not a bad thing!!! Sea view from hotel excellent. Very clean and very little noise. Hired a car from CBR and travelled the island - stunning. Can't wait to go back.

Lassi is just a short walk up a very steep hill from the hotel. There are a few shops and lots of restaurants. We hired a care from Avis cars as they really do provide fully comprehensive insurance although other car hire places are around we found that their insurances where not actually fully comprehensive and you had to pay for minor scratches etc etc. So be carefull and check with them about their insurance.

Lassi is a quiet resort with most of the restaurants along one main road. A few bars, but when we went in September little in the way of entertainment. This suited us as we were looking for a quiet holiday, but some younger couples we met were rather disappointed. Lovely bays and small beaches which we preferred to one long sandy beach. We loved it and will definately return.

Overall i enjoyed my stay in Lassi, after a few things i had read i was afraid it would be too lively, but this is not the case at all.
We are a young couple and there was just enough to keep us entertained. There are no clubs or anything too loud, but a handful of nice late bars, Sartaki garden bar has a lovely atmosphere but is a little pricier than the smaller bars.
We found the staff at Ill Gabbiano bar ( we never ate at the restaraunt)very friendly and the ideal place for that last drink, the prices here are lower than your larger bars. The Main larger beaches can get very overcrowded high season, we much prfererred Kalamia Beach, Just off Fanari Road, this beach is alot less busy and the sunbeds here are cheaper than at the more touristy beaches.
There is also a small hut serving food and drink. I would also recommend hiring a car as you can get round all of the island in a day or two, and there are some beautiful villages to visit.

The resort was one strip of resturants and bars. A number of supermarkets and a couple of soverign shops. We had a meal in a different resturant every night we were there and we never had a bad meal. 3/4 good beaches in Lassi.
The resort as the rest of the island is hilly so beware if you have difficulty in walking up steep hills. Good exercise, helped when you had drunk a few glasses of wine.
Try to get out of Lassi and see the rest of the island it is very pretty. Watch out for the goats in the mountains , they have right of way.
