Good all round resort has a bit of everything. Good food, beautiful beaches, friendly people and nothing too far away. Close to Argostoli for some good shopping.

Resort is lovely and consists of a main road with lots of bars and restaurants - plenty to keep you going for two weeks. Local bus service is infrequent but always on time.

We caught the bus to Argostoli and also to Sami which invovled a change in Argostoli but it worked perfectly.

From Argostoli you can catch a ferry to Luxouri which takes about 20 mins - there is a ferry every half an hour - it doesn't cost very much and is always on time.

I would recommend Lassi as the resort to stay in Kefalonia it has numerous beautiful beaches with a good choice of places to eat. Zorbas has an excellent Greek night with good food and friendly staff.

The family owned supermarket next door has everything you need with good service and prices.

Don’t bother with the reps trips we had an island tour booked locally at a fraction of the price an excellent day out. it was our first visit to Kefalonia and we were not disappointed, a night out in Argostolli is also highly recommended.

The resort and beaches are fantastic. The only reason I have marked down the Resort Entertainment category is that there wasnt any - this is why I picked Kefalonia, I dont like holiday entertainment. Peace and quiet and enjoyment.

Rated as the busiest resort on the island. However this still means it is quiet and reserved. Plenty of choice for places to eat and shops that cope with most needs. 20 minutes walk to the main town so it is a good location to be based.

Fairly modern but not over developed.

Lassi is a great place to visit, but not loads to do if you have young kids. Best to hire a car so you can visit other places as well. Lots of bars/ resteraunts and they all speak good english. Beaches are really nice, but some can be pebbley.

Nice resort although very geered to self catering as loads of lovely tavernas all along the resort. Also a few music bars and shops however as the capital, Argostoli, was only 2 km away you had just about everything on your doorstep.
Very clean resort and mainly flat in the resort centre. several very good sandy beaches which were never jam packed.
