The night entertainment is ok if you are the type that like to play bingo or join in with the games. Nothing to do for children over about 10 so they were all bored, and after the kids disco most of the kids just run riot around the hotel lobby.
Rooms are very basic but clean, beds are very worn down but passable. We had 2 single beds and a camp bed in our room making it very cramped.
Lots of steps around the hotel and you have to walk around the slippy pool area to get to beach, so go carefully, no good if you are unsteady on you feet as ignorant people move beds right to near edge of pool making it hard to get past without falling in.
Hotel staff very friendly, though rushed off their feet in the dining room.
Massive insects around but they do use something to kill them but we had to buy some spray from the hotel shop to kill the faster as they were around the bed base.
Children's pool small family pool very busy and very deep, adult pool/bar good but pools are very salty.

The hotel reception is very impressive and extremely clean, so first impressions were pleasing, the following day we were to find out more of the hotel in the day light, and it was brilliant, with 4 pools, its own water park, non stop activities for children and adults during the day round the pool and on beach with no pressure to attend really kept the party amused, even if you didn

The rooms are well equipped but are not quite 5 star.
The food certainly makes up for this. Plenty of choice and freshly cooked - stone baked pizzas freshly prepared were a favorite with my son.
All staff were friendly and accommodating - some guests just moan about anything

They are all part of the hotel but Summer Palace and Family Village was seperate and up hill, and they are called the bunglows.
The food was ok, there was plenty of choice but by the end of the week you have had everything and don't have a clue what to have.
The pool side was quite slippery.
At night after you have had your last meal of the day, you are stuck on what to do, All you can do is either sit on the sofas and be bored or watch the kids disco or sit in the adults bar and drink like theres no tomorrow!!
The staff are friendly. The hotel is away from everything. unless you walk 3 mile to them!

It was high winds when we were there and our room which was for myself my husband and my 4 year old son, was situated in the hotel itself 251, we had 2 sets of patio doors that went out onto the veranda they shook and the shutters on them rattled all night the catch had broke so therefore the door kept opening it was absolutely freezing every night and my son was terrified of the noises.
We had to use the blankets out of the cupboard every night and my son came back with a chest infection, my mum has the flu and we are all not to good.
The food seemed to be more or less the same thing most nights my little boy never ate for the whole week I didnt eat much myself I lost a stone in weight (actually quite happy about that!) most of the staff were lovely and great with kids.
All I can say is NO I wouldnt go back there but it was ok.
Entertainment was crap Animation team need a kick up the pants!
If anyone reading this has been to Rinnella Beach in Crete, well forget this Hotel because its just the same.

This was our first experience of an all inclusive holiday in greece and it was a little dissapointing. our first room was at the top of the dreaded "cardiac hill" which seemed a little strange to us as they are family rooms but we were just a couple.
After a few arguments with the reception staff and trying to explain to them that my wife had a heart condition we were moved the next day into the main hotel. No complaints about the room it was well furnished and very clean the approach did smell of diesel though beware if you get room 40 as it's next door to a diesel generator which does smell exactly the same as the bilges on some of the naval vessels that I've served on.
The food was "pants" it was the same every night and catered to our european friends there were hardly any authentic greek dishes on the menu just boring pizzas, chips some grilled meats of which you could never really be sure what you were eating as they all tasted exactly the same. The chinese restaurant is ok we eat out in kardemna on our last night just to eat some decent greek food.
Location is ok right on the beach the snorkelling is excellent never seen so many fish however not very child friendly as it does shelve quite steeply after a few yards no luck with the sunbeds around the pools I think they had all been taken by our german friends .
One room even had the cheek to take the beds and put them on their balcony every night !!
Hotel reception staff extremely rude and ingnorant unless you were German, waitng staff and barstaff pleasant.
I think that will be our first and last visit to an a/i hotel give me small and a bit more Greek anytime

We found the rooms, although well used, were spotlessly clean with fresh towels and sheets changed daily. The food in the main restuarent was excellent ,catering for every possible taste, from pasta to pizza or salads and fresh fish or grilled meats and various greek dishes. It was varied and full of flavour.(If pie and chips or sausage and mash is a favorite then go to Blackpool).
The reception staff were very friendly and always willing to help,as were all the bar staff and maids etc.
The entertainment was a little poor but then you cannot please all of the people all of the time There were plenty of other bars to visit if the entertainment was not of your taste.
The hotel had three pools (one adults only)but were very clean The beachs were also excellent although you did have to be an early bird if a beach front sun bed was for you!!
Cardiac hill was a slight climb but after eating your fill then a slight walk up a hill would be to your advantage!!
This was our first experience of A/I but it will not be the last .We would not visit this hotel again as we were not very impressed with Kos as an Island but would not hesitate to visit a Misites Hotel in future.

On arrival there was a mix-up with our rooms. We had booked for two seperate rooms but had been allocated a one bungalow room. The reception staff were really appologetic and asked if we could stay in the one room for one night. We agreed and the next day we were moved to two seperate rooms in the new part of the hotel. The rooms were fantastic! Loads of space and really clean.
The food in the hotel was lovely, lots to choose from and plenty for the 'fussy' eaters in our party!
Most of the hotel staff were very friendly and the entertainment staff were a real good laugh!
Kos is a lovely island, my husband and I hired a buggy and did some site seeing. Zia is a lovely village to visit and paradise beech is really relaxing with loads of available sunbeds.
We all had a really good time and would definatly return to this hotel again.

They gave us 2 twins and a camp bed! We were told they did not do triple rooms at the hotel - and yet they had taken our money for one! It took us 2 days before we unpacked to get the right rooms for a 2 weeks holiday.
It was only after ranting and raving we got the triple room - we had paid for 5 adults after all. We were constantly being told to come back at 4 then 8 o'clock and this went on for 2 days - every 4 hours to report to reception. They were not nice at all and thought we would eventually accept it.
What we eventually got was over the front of the hotel but the diesel fumes from the buses was awful - but we also found out later the fumes were also from their generators - yuk! You could wonder why did't we speak to someone and complain? We did but when asking for the manager was told he was a very busy man and we would need a special appointment.
We were originally told another manager was in charge but she (the Reservation Manager) was too busy to see us and later even refused to speak to us - so the receptionists were taking all the flak from other guests. This manager must be totally unaware of what was happening. It was only on the last day someone pointed him out to us.
After the rooms were sorted out we settled down - and by the way the air con does not work - our sons were in a room of at least 26f according to the thermostat reading of the air con. The food was excellent and so were the restaurant staff. Maids were good also with fresh towels etc.
We would not return to this hotel again -but we did eventually enjoy our stay.
