We only ate breakfast and the occasional lunch in the hotel. Breakfasts were limited but every thing you needed was there and we never left hungry.
Yes the outdoor pool was cold but we understood from other holiday makers that this is the norm in Greece. The outdoor areas were equally spotless.
All the staff were very helpful and pleasant. We will visit again.

We felt the poor entertainment really let the Hotel down though. It was poorly organised, especially the daytime activities; our brochure had advertised 'a programme of daytime activities' . However, the timings of any activities were not displayed anywhere and seemed to just be at random times during the day. They also lacked variety and consisted mainly of pool volleyball and a pool tounament. The guests weren't really encouraged to take part, it was often just shouted out around the pool a couple of times.
The evening entertainment was fairly poor and again we felt the guests weren't really encouraged to participate. All evening entertainment started at 10pm which we felt was a bit late, any gaps in the entertainment were not filled and we saw alot of people taking this as an opportunity to leave. Also if you go for 2 weeks as we did, the entertainment is the same every week.
The indoor pool and jacuzzi are good. The outdoor pool area is ok, but too cramped.
We found the reception staff, shop staff and hotel Rep friendly and helpful, but the bar staff and some waiting staff weren't particularly friendly and seemed to lack motivation. This may be due to us going later in the season, not sure.
We wouldn't return to this hotel unless there was a major overhaul of the entertainments programme.

The Hotel is right on the Beach the rooms all bar a few have tremendous sea views of stunning proportions. The rooms are well appointed and have Safes in the Room, Tea & Coffee making facilities, good quality hair drier by the mirror(thats a bonus! believe me I have been to Hotels where the hair drier is stuck in a corner somewhere)Slippers & dressing gowns come as standard.
The food is of the highest quality and George the Chef is superb, breakfast! what a delight real English sausages & bacon eggs fried to perfection(no snotty one's allowed) HP baked beans, fresh cooked pancakes, fruits cereals etc.
The Hotel has an entertainment package in the evening that equals any that I have seen anywhere, as you know Greece is not renowned for this side of the business but "Zante Swing" "Karl Kaining" "Haley Belle" & Even the Greek Dancers night was far different from the fair that is normally served up. Brilliant 10 out of 10
Tsilivi is a nice town and is just lively enough for the youngsters and old alike, we stayed half board so can only comment on the other guests who were eating out and they said that there was so many restaurants to choose from that they went to a different one every night for 14 days.
The Two Brother Bar & Deano's all have a lively pleasant atmosphere and also have good quality live entertainment as well. All in all Mr Christos runs a very good Hotel.

Great location on the beach.
Polite staff, clean rooms.
The only down side was the entertainment but then you can walk into the resort 2 mins and visit any bar you would like.

We stayed bed and breakfast and found the food to be excellent with a great choice of hot and cold buffet style breakfasts on offer.

The hotel staff were very friendly and the hotel itself was very clean, maid service 7 days and towels changed every other day.
We stayed bed and breakfast and there was plenty of choice from fruit, cereal, continental and full English breakfasts available which were nice.
Don't really know much about hotel entertainment, there was something going on every night but we went out into the resort to see what was going on out there.
I would say that this hotel is mainly suited to couples there isn't anything here really for children.
We had a lovely holiday here at the Zante Maris and although there are a few other countries we would like to visit first we would definitely go back here but a bit later in the season.

On closer inspection of the hotel it would seem that they run out of time before it opened as it looks a little unfinished. The bathroom took a while to get used to. There is a drain in the middle of the floor which I thought was for the excess water from the shower. But no, it was the overflow as I found out when I made the mistake of having a bath! Imagine my surprise when i unplugged the bath to find most of it coming back up through the drain!!
The entertainment was slightly lacking. I had to laugh when they put on a game of "Play your cards right" which was done using an ordinary size pack of playing cards!
Other than these small gripes, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would go back again (once they have sorted out the airport).

The breakfasts were really good something for everyone, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, beans, eggy bread, fresh fruit, feta cheese, six different cereals, cakes, biscuits, croissants, tea, coffee and juice. We had a few evening meals that we really enjoyed.
The lobby area is lovely leather sofas and nice table and chairs.
We had some terrible weather he first few days we were there but the hotel put on entertainment.
We had Greek dancing two guys called Cained and Able who were great, a girl called Hayley Belle she was really good and then we had Dimi. Now what can I say about him, bless him he thinks he is very good but he is so bad when he sings we thought at first that he was a comedy act. I bought a cd of his to bring home as nobody would believe just how bad he is, he gave us, and many others a good laugh. Please Christos don

The beach is just in front the hotel and is very nice and has a warm sea.
Entertainment was poor only one good night which was a band called Cained and Able, although the bar staff Munchie and Chris made up for it, and the bar was a good laugh sometimes opening as late a 3am.
Staff were very friendly get to know them and you can get good deals like more food at the beach bar which did nice cheap food with table tennis and pool.
Overall a very good holiday lots to do and see!
