Also, how can they justify having creepy time-share men present in the Hotel harassing passers by in the reception??
Our room on arrival was a hellhole, water pouring from the kitchen ceiling etc.. When we complained about it the maintenance man was sent up quickish, but boy does he know how to do a half-job!! He stuffed one of our towels up into the ceiling to soak up the water, not stop it. This resulted with the ceiling collapsing with the weight of the soaked towel..
It was time to blow a fuse, and after alot of shouting and threats of sueing, eventually we got our room changed to one of those "UPGRADED" rooms, but it took us three days to achieve this..
The food was grand, nothing special, and the staff were just alright!! Danny De Vito, was the most annoying "THING" I have ever encountered, and at times made me feel physically sick...YUK!!! If that what constitutes entertainment at the BHC then go to bed!!!
The way I look at it, you work all year long, your entitled to your two weeks out, do not waste your hard earned cash or sweet time at the BHC. I saw plenty of lovely Hotels in Malta, and Malta itself is a delight, but I'm afraid I wont return again, and this is due to my experience at the BHC.. Everything about it is substandard, I have stayed in grotty Hostels in Amsterdam that were no worse than this Hotel.. Take your money and spend it wisely, somewhere else......

The entertainment was excellent, the Staff were very good and the pools were clean.
We would definatley not visit this complex again we took photographs and sent them to the Maltese Tourist Board.

The hotel is ideally situated within easy access to sea front, shops, bars, and the local bus terminal (which i would recommend anyone try)there is also a number of restaurants nearby in particular the bar/exellent restaurant of PaLeon which is approx 100yrd left as you come out of the hotel.
We did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food but to eat out was cheap enough.
staff wery very friendly, tip for exchanging money there is a car hire place approx 100yrds left as you come out of hotel this has beter rates then hotel/rep and doesn't charge commision.

After complaining we were giving a fan we had to wear ear plugs to get to sleep as the fan made such a noise. The hotel was located close to the shops bars etc.
The bar staff cleaners and maintenence men were very nice and friendly We thought the men on reception were polite and helpfull but the women on reception were not as helpfull and a bit snotty.
We didnt bother with the entertainment as we were out all the time in the evenings so can't coment on that. we have stayed before with children and found the food good for them there was always something they would eat which makes a change!

It is located near to the bus terminal at Bugibba which is essential for exploring Malta.
The food was of a good standard and the main courses where not repeated in the 2 weeks we where there, the room overlooking the pool was of a good standard and plenty of storage space. Staff where friendly and helpful. We would have no reservations in returning to this hotel.

Our room as so small we had three single beds crammed into a room. The room was dirty, dusty, smelled horrific, all of us were sick for the week, we all are itchy three days after leaving the place, didn't sleep all week, the beds have seen better days, the linen was dirty, there was rubbish everywhere, the indoor pool facilities were disgusting and dirty, the food was at best tasteless, reception staff treated you with contempt if you asked them to do anything. We were promised a lot of things by the Budget but none of them materialised.
Malta is a very poor country that depends on tourism, well it's not doing a good job. While we were there, there were four murders in the area, construction site accidents in tourist areas, if it wasn't for the MacDonalds pay area we would have booked a flight home after three days.

Had a fantastic time.
Prior to the holiday, Trevor the manager of the hotel got in contact with me via this forum and made certain assurances and promises about my stay. I will not go into the details of the promises, only to say that he kept to his word and carried out everything he promised he would. Thankyou for that.
The hotel we found was very clean and presentable. The staff were always very polite and keen to assist with any queries.
The room we had was a large 2 roomed apartment, 1 bedroom and a living room with kitchen aswell as 2 balconies. No problems with the apartment, it was very clean.
We arrived too late for dinner, so the staff arranged for us to eat free in the pizzeria. The food in the restaurant was good with plenty of variation.
The only thing that niggled us was the price of the phonecalls back to home. It was quite expensive, although this may be down to the telephone operators rates and not the hotels, I dont know about that.
The maid service was also very good.
All in all it was an excellent holiday and the staff were second to none. Thankyou everyone at the hotel.

Some of the comments about the decoration is true , however this hotel must be busiest on the island, I dont think the staff damage the hotel so i think i know who does.
This will be the 14 visit to this hotel by my wife and I , Last year we had cause for complaint about our room it was in the annex which we asked not to be put in. The next day we were moved to an up graded room ,Trevor the Manager could not have been nicer, result another good holiday at bhc and another satisfied customer.

My friend and I went to Malta on holiday, where I have been on several occasions and have never had any complaints.
However, this time, we were unlucky enough to book via a package to the Bugibba Holiday Complex apartments. We were given an apartment key and trotted off to find it. Imagine our horror to find the place was not fit for pigs to live in.
The walls were filthy and chunks had fallen off; the ceilings were falling apart; the bathroom was ingrained with layers of dirt and the walls disintegrating with huge black patches showing through; the mirror was black where the silvering had worn off. The floors through the whole apartment had ingrained dirt and were filthy.
The furniture was broken with some parts missing and the door frames had chunks missing. The kitchen was beyond description.
We complained and were given 2 sets of keys to 2 other apartments to check out. These were just as bad and one of them had huge puddles in the kitchen. Once again we complained and after waiting and some phone calls on the part of reception, we were offered another apartment which , this time was livable.
However, on the first day the toilet seat fell off. We reported it but it was never fixed. Also on our last day we felt sick as in bending down to pick up a towel I noticed the under rim of the toilet has thick ingrained black stuff around it. YUK
