This resort is in a mainly recently developed area and is ideally situated for Island visits with a central bus station and many local shops and restaurants. It has not got a sandy beach but there are a couple of places where the sea can be entered and there are various other activities, snorkeling and diving, boating etc. Also you can play the maltese petanque known as Bocci..
General cleanliness in this resort was very good. The roads are amongst the best in Malta.
There are plenty of seats throughout the resort including round the attractive Beach Square where the local people meet and chat. With Restaurants all round giving a wide choice of menu, with background music, this is a popular area.

malta is a wonderful place, the only problem was that bugibba that we visited doesnt have a sandy beach it is very rocky and they are very slippery which was a little dangerous with our children, but malta has lots of gorgeous beaches which are a stone through away and buses run regulary and car hire is a very good price. you must visit midina the silent city if you go its amazing.

Be found Bugibba an awful place.
One small man made beach that is packed with locals. The alternative is the rocks that are slippery aand dangerous. The patchways are littered with dog poo as are many of the pavements. The place looks and feels very run down and most buildings need a lick of paint.
Restaurants and bars are basic. Toilets not very clean and rather smelly.
We wouldn't go back even if we won a free holiday here. yuk

We expected a livley town.It has a very neglected feel about it peeling paint everywhere. The roads and footpaths are very poor. The resturants were all ok and the staff very nice. There was very little entertainment and what there is was poor. Timeshare people on every corner but not to persistant when told no thanks

I love Bugibba wouldn't stay anywhere else, plenty of restaurants to eat in along the front & lots for the kids to do, also has great bus service to get you anywhere on the Island at reasonable prices.

We don't like Bugibba very much - for the reason there are no hotels along the seafront. Everything is up scruffy little back streets and it's either up or downhill. Very few places are on the flat.
Loads of bars and little restaurants to visit but dimly lit streets at night.
There is no beach in Bugibba.
No - I would not want to stay in this resort again. 3 visits is enough, thank you!

the resort of buggiba st pauls bay. is the quiet part of malta i would say . still lively enough to entertain but quiet enough to be able to catch a sleep. its a little more run down than i remember but there seems to be a lot of renewal goin on. im a great fan of malta and would live there if i could.

We stayed at Buggiba after much discussion and to be honest i am glad we did as it provided an excellent base for getting around the island, good bus links, boat trips etc.
Although if you weren't planning on visiting the island and wanted to stay in one place then i think you would get very bored.
There are various bars, restaurants and cafe although they are pretty tacky and dont really offer that much choice unless you love pasta and pizza, which to our advantage we do!!!
There is no beach although there are several lido's which seemed popular.
I would not visit its resort again only because we would like to see other resorts.

This resort ,like most of Malta is a building site! there is flats unfinished or abandoned everywhere and the landscape is a bit sad, not many trees or plants.
There is enought shops and restaurants around, the beach is not far but small area with sand, the rest is rocky and hard to access to but the sea is clear blue.
