St Pauls Bay runs into Bugibba and in turn into Qawra, there is a promenade area which runs between the resorts with numerous shops bars and restaurants. Plenty to see and do. Depsite our hotel being really bad, Malta is fabulous, the Maltese people are really ffirendly and helpful.

One of the main resorts of Malta plenty of bars and restaurants to try. Very safe and great resort for families. no natural sandy beaches. but clean safe waters good for snorkelling.

We have visited Buggiba before and think it is a really nice place to stay. There are such a lot of places to visit, such as Gozo, Blue lagoon, Different grottos, Valletta, Mosta Dome and many more. We visited most of them again and would recommend new visitors to see them. The Maltese people are very friendly.

This was our second time to the area. the resort is a clean one with rubbish found really in the back streets. Entertainment was good with plenty of choice. We didn't go to a beach this time but did the last time.

as we went out of our hotel to go to the bay, the footpaths were so rough you had to watch your step. once you got to the bay it was very good,it had been re vamped, good footpaths. We went into Valetta on the bus, the Bus driver,s were so irratic, Beeping their horns and never stopping at round abouts, the Bus Drivers must have Priority, their was a lot of new hotels and Apartments being built, and the Time share Reps were busy hounding you.

Malta not as spick and span as some of the Spanish resorts but made up by lovely people and it's history, some really good places and trips to do, try car trip on the ferry to Gozo, blue grotto, Valleta city, Grand Harbour boat trip, churches are stunning, don't miss the local Festa's and fireworks.Beaches good but can get crowded at weekends, sea is great for snorkling and swimming.

we read the horror stories about buggiba but they simple are not true the sea front is lovely with and a promenade stretching to st pauls in one direction and qwara in the other, there is sufficient restuarants and bars, we found buggiba to be an exellent base for seeing malta and would definately go back. if you want a beach holiday malta is not for you, and it would be a waste there are so many places to visit, if you miss it you miss out.

Not bad, lots of places to go out, however not that much as
in other places on Malta. Not too far from a great Golden Bay beach (on the other coast) - easy to get there by bus and
believe me it's worth it...:)

We stayed in St pauls Bay/Bugibba area, which is full of resterants, bars etc, and some beautiful bays etc. There is a great bus service which takes you to Sliema( no 70) only 20 mins drive where there are plenty of shops and boat trips. Its not as mad as St Julians or Sliema so if you are looking to go with family and just dine out in the evenings then this place is for you.
