Bugibba.........mmmmmmmmmmmm.Full of idiots trying to sell timeshares (beware of anyone who asks you if you are English)............Lots of restaurants, Lots of bars, shopping is not different than prices of england.
A very nice place to visit is St Pauls Bay (about 5mins away). If you go there you must try a restaurant called Don Vitos. The people are friendly and the prices cheap.

we have been to bugibba 10 times in all usually for 3weeks at a time. Its an excellent base for the island good bus service to almost anywhere on the island central for everything. We usually have a scooter for two weeks so its good where we are for the whole place. If you want to stay in the town for the day theres plenty to do and the nightlife is good.Anyone who says different obviously has not had much of a walk about to find places to go.

There was alot of rubbish bags on the streets .Didn't go out to any bars as you cant smoke in them. The beach in Bugibba was rocky . This was a loverly resort but not really somewhere I would take the kids again

We have been to Bugibba before and love Malta in general, there is no beach at Bugibba but you can jump on one of the little busses for about 50p to a lovely beach at Melhia.
Bugibba has something for everyone, lots of bars and shops round the sea front and square, a lovely promanade with lots of seats, fantastic ice cream, and good cheap transport to almost anywhere on the island.
The only thing lacking in Bugibba was some children's rides on the sea front.

The hotel is in the resort of Bugibba where there is no beach so I cannot comment on that. The whole of malta in my opinion (well certainly in the main towns) is quite dirty but I also think you can say that of a lot of places.
I liked bugibba and enjoyed walking to the square and sitting on the rocky coastline where the sea is clear blue....I enjoyed the walks from bugibba to qawra too...all in all I would certainly return.

We have been to Bugibba 5 times now and will no doubt be back again next year.Bugibba has a laid back take us as
you find us that is refreshingly local. There is no sandy beach, but it is perfectly safe to swim from rocky outcrops.
The resort is reasonably clean, with plenty of bars and cafes.I must mention Memories Inn in Bugibba,a wee gem of a bar.A big thank you to Yvonne and Jean for making a good holiday even better.Their hospitality was second to none,
well worth a visit should you be in the area.
A big thank you to Paul at the Cactus Bar for some unpaid babysitting of an 11 year old who thinks you are
really cool.See you all next year and hope you have a great season.

There are many part built buildings in Buggiba, which after many visits over the years never seem to get completed. (Why is this?)
The resort is well looked after and there are lots of shops on the front.
At night the town comes to life, loads of people everywhere.
There is no real beach at Buggiba just a rocky shore line.

ALthough no beach at Bugibba the charm of Malta and its people are protrayed excellent here. Malta is a beautiful island better explpored by car or bus. I would recommend the 1/2 day jeep safari and 1/2 day catamaran trip for anyone wanting to explore and see this island and its sister island Gozo, well worth a visit

The streets were slightly grubby, rubbish bags left outside houses etc, the seafront area was nice. There wasn't a sandy beach near us, but you could still paddle
