The area was terrible, cranes everywhere, more like a construction site. Rubbish on the streets and pot holes everywhere which was well dangerous. Lots of unfinished buildings too. Everywhere seemed dead, mind you we were coming to the end of the season. As for the beach, the sea looked lovely but it was rocks everywhere.

Went to Valletta market, that was ok, also did morrish lock market, filthy there, we were gonna have some lunch there but my friend went to the loo's and it was nasty, and the staff that went loo before her didn't wash their hands so we left.

I would never return to Bugibba again, my mum ended up falling down and broke her hip. She had to have an operation, and is coming back this week. In all fairness the hospital in Silema, was brilliant, St.James hospital, my mum went straight down to xray and had the operation in the evening, had her own room and bathroom, and phone in the room, my dad got moved to a 5 star hotel he said it was fabulous, but still full of OAP's.

It was the holiday from hell, never again.

What a wonderful country to explore! Just jump on a bus ( an adventure in itself) and see the wonderful countryside and towns and villages of Malta.

The resort of Bugibba has a good range of shops, beaches within very easy walking distance and some fabulous restaurants, Churchills, Manzinis and Che G?? down by 'Geriatric Square'. The local wine is cheap and easy to drink, the drinks all cheap, and the company enjoyable.

The Maltese people are friendly and welcoming. During our week only one upset us with a derogatory comment so we just didn't return to his shop.

We intend returning to Malta as we didn't see or do all we wanted!

Take plenty of money if you like jewellery! Its beautiful and cheap!

The English breakfasts at Pauls Bar are delicious! follow that with a Cappucino or latte from one of the many cafes and you are ready to explore anywhere!

Nothing much to say about it really.

I say I would come back but only because of the apartments. Bugibba seems dirty and 'unfinished' although some effort has been made to tidy up the seafront and you can walk from Bugibba up to St Paul's Bay which is much more picturesque.

No beach to speak of but then again nowhere in Malta has got a decent beach so if it is a beach holiday you are after, look elsewhere.

The resort is untidy but I think this is due to tourist dropping litter as you see shop owners cleaning the fronts of the shops all the time, it also had lots of rubble in the middle of roads.

We found a realy good restaurant just around the corner called De Rosti or something like that the food was good and so was the service, when we went back a second time the man recognised us and I found this quite refreshing.

The bus service was excelent and you could get anywhere within the hour. Malta is beautiful and I would definitely go back!

Bugibba is great as a resort. Good for disabled people. The bus service is great buses every 10, 15, 30 mintues. You will have to get out of resort and see the rest of the island. Valletta is a fantastic place old city with it's palaces and History go and see the Malta Experience a 40 foot cinema show about the island!!!!

Would come back to Malta again!!!

Bugibba sea front is quite quaint, central area where everybody gathers at night, surrounded with restaurants shops and bars. Two bars played loud music, but mostly small quiet bars. The main sea front, goes left and right from the central area, and is full of shops. Taxi Bay, and many small kiosks. HSBC Bank with ATM machine right at the front, instructions are in English, which is pretty much the same as every sign in Malta, everyone speaks , and everything is in English.

Beach is rocky, but there is a access area to swim, Sea is lovely and green / blue and very warm

Bus station is 5 minutes from the front, and its easy to get almost anywhere on the island from there. Bus drivers and taxi drivers are all mad, but that goes for anywhere in the med! Bars sell local beers and wine as well as well known imported beer such as Guinness, Fosters, John Smiths, etc.. Local beer is the best value.

St Julians is the place to go if you like to stay out to early in the morning, The Girls and beautiful and friendly. Did not see any hassle, fights or anything, Everyone is just out for a good safe time.

If you like culture, Valetta and Mdina are the places to go.

First time staying in Bugibba there are plenty of shops, bars & restaurants in the vicinity and the bus terminus made it very easy to see the rest of the Islands. Some of the back streets were in need of litter control but the main coastal road was a pleasure to visit. Time share salesmen and women are a pest.

A very rocky coastline here, but you can catch the cheap and cheerful buses to nice sandy beaches at Mellieha or Golden Bay.

The War museum in Valleta is facinating and well worth a visit. The highlight of our week was the boat trip from Buggiba to the blue lagoon, where you could swim in the crystal clear waters, and it only cost Lm4(about £6)
