Beaches

Resort was same as ever, but a lot of building/inprovement work going on. Did not interfere with our holiday though.
Not particularly clean, but much improved on past visits.
No beach, but did not expect one at this particular resort. Some beautiful beaches at other locations around the island though.
Would happily visit Malta again, have been three times before and I like it in spite of it's shortcomings. Buses got us where we wanted to go and back again. But please, please get rid of time share touts. This years tactics are:
Giving you a scratch card and when you 'win' a big prize, which you invariably do, insisting you go with them to collect it.
Asking you to take part in a survey.
and, most disturbing of all, pulling up alongside you and jumping out of the car.
Remember, if you would not let a stranger take you to an unknown destination in a car in this country, don't do it anywhere else. We just said 'no thank you' an kept on walking.

Malta is a gorgeous place to visit and I would definitly do so again.
Resort excellent, plenty of bars and restaurants. Tonnes of gift shops etc. Bit dissappointed with the beach as it is pebbly and small but I'd recommend to jump on the beach to Popeye Village - lovely beach.
The resort was an ideal base to explore Malta. Area was not the cleanest place I've been but I can say its a very popular tourist area an from what I observed the rubbish in the street was mainly left by tourists with locals doing the best they can to clear up.
Not 5 mins away is the lovely promanade with resturants and lido all open to the public to use. Some charged a little too much but for the whole day in a lovely clean lido with showering facilities we were more than willing to pay.
Overall a lovely place to stay.

The resort is very nice I will be going back but to a different hotel
The resort was ok and the local bars and restuarants were cheap and plentyfull. We toured about every night visiting a few bars then returning to the Crazy Daisy pub on the corner of the venus apt where the owner has to be one of the nicest guys you could ever meet, who made my son Damon`s holiday very enjoyable.
The resort is a very lively place with something for all ages although Malta is not a beach place unless you travel on the bus (which goes to anywhere you want to go) the bus station is near to the apts. A man made beach was being made when we stayed last year and looked as though it would be very nice when finished
